Really disappointing to see the lack of payment plan has screwed a lot of people over, especially as it looks to sell out this month judging by the social media posts. Not too impressed with that - sound wasn't fantastic for anything I saw and really poor for Foals, queues were shocking, not a great atmosphere at all (though can imagine a sunny/warm day being a factor there) On the upside, all the bands put in good shifts and it was a decent lineup more or less throughout. Will try and catch most of the ones I saw at better venues Definitely soured urban/park day festivals a bit for me though, probably a matter of taste too in honesty

Registered an account just to say (well I might get in on the pre-Green Man discussion too) thank you for the kind words - it was our first ever full gig and an intimidating one so glad to see you enjoyed it! Enjoyed everything about the weekend but Henge and We Are Not Devo at the Dorothy Pax showcased the best of the fringe for me. Great, odd music in a great venue with a joyful crowd (apart from the guy who stood on a bench which promptly tipped over and caused mayhem 😔)
