  1. I saw five Rovers tops! I was counting cause my camp mate was a rovers fan and wore one every day (he didn't count so 6) and I played spot West Brom (4) vs Rovers.
  2. Coventry. I've been to the Ricoh and I swear their entire home support was in attendance 😉
  3. I think you are on to something with reduced tickets for under 25s or there abouts. I really noticed the increased number of younger people on site this year compared to last and I think it's so important. I love Glastonbury and I try and get there every year - but it's a love born when I was 15 years old. I don't think I would ever be able to afford it today in the same situation, it would only be a pipe dream. I was able to get a ticket with one weeks wage from my weekend job having done a few extra hours as well, and I sustained myself with the next weekends wages which defo was mostly taking my own rice pouches and a camping stove plus sh*t whiskey! But still.
  4. I had a pie, mash and peas from Sam's Pie for breakfast one day for the same reason and it was an epic decision! Down with bacon rolls. Didn't eat a bad meal all festival. Highlights were the burgers from Eat the Farm - top chips too - and our now festival staple, the Mega Crepe from by BBC introducing. Cookie dough wrapped in a crepe. Too much, over the top, perfection.
  5. I think 2007 was first year of The Park? Saw Lily Allen open it. It was meant to be MIA but she was MIA.
  6. Same same - definitely up there with my best, it really reminded me of 2000 in lots of ways. Felt like an old school Glasto. Your avatar had reminded me of another delight. SO MANY QUEER PEOPLE. not just cause you can tell cause couples but like, groups of queer friends, lots of great content, the trans pride crew in Nomad. It just felt like the gays had come out to play! Was very cool indeed.
  7. Rapid!! I'm glad I didn't see this. I'd had two Pina Coladas!! My OH's and therefore my 2nd team. I was going to play Super Saturday and try and get a selfie with someone in every Championship team top I could spot but it was too hot for shenanigans.
  8. Elton Carl Cox Chems on Arcadia Honorable mentions to Texas, Beth Orton, The Unthanks and Carly Rae Jepsen who I didn't see all of but was excellent
  9. I thought they were excellent!

    Nice New Things

The Levels was stunning. An amazing venue and the sound was excellent. Real challenge to the naughty corner!
  11. Have you stopped in it? What's the craic? We were borderline obsessed with it as every night when we walked past there up The Hill of Death there appeared to be another mid 00s pop act playing on a stage. It also seemed to have some Germanic looking wooden hotel. Is it extra fancy? Do you also have to walk up a big hill to get in? I need deets
  12. We used to camp in the Park when the spider first arrived and it would shake our tent all night. I found it quite comforting to sleep to!
  13. Was the whole of Coventry there?! I have never seen so many Cov tops in my life!! Was lovely TBF.

    Humblewell

No I felt the same it was a really weird flex. You have the Healing Fields - what's this?! And I am not a yoga teacher at all but I love the time and space I have at Glastonbury to relax and connect with myself. It felt like Carlsberg sponsored wellbeing. V off.
  15. I would like to air my frustration at the man in the West Brom top who turned his back on me when I BOING BOINGed at him. I later saw two Sunderland fans embrace each other and felt an extra wave of frustration at my fellow sh*t football team fan.
  16. We've got a frustrations thread - what about all the good things?? My delights to counter the frustrations: - I never queued for a toilet, which is unreal in itself, and every toilet I went into was clean! No exception. A first for me in 25 years. - I didn't eat a bad meal. A massive shout out to Eat the Farm who have ruined all other burgers for me. Great chips too. - the Co Op is a godsend. Reasonably priced, decent food available. I had a price marked Monster Energy. £1.55, what a deal. - the frozen margarita from the Glade Bar was exceptional. 10/10 lads.
  17. Tbh this sounds like my Glastonbury experience in 2000. Not sure it's new but you were just really unlucky which sucks! I would defo move next time. Not worth the hassle. In a quarter of a million people there will defo be dickheads. I also think last year was an anomaly because of 2020 tickets being spun over, so besides getting working shifts we had a lot less 15-19 year olds who wouldn't have bought tickets back then. I saw lots of kids up to all sorts but nothing disrespectful. It was actually really good seeing kids getting to do their first glasto. Felt a bit eerie last year.
  18. Beth Orton doing Stolen Car acoustic on her own, being drowned out by a man shouting something like "Push it! Push it!" in Glasto Latino wasn't a vibe.
  19. Big up FMS and I know must have been an extremely tough year, losing someone on site. On a lighter note I would most like to thank them for losing me in the system last year, as they were looking for a 40 year old woman and had immediately discounted me as I was far too young, and so thought I had left. The leg got bandaged AND the ego healed!!

    Carparks

It was defo weird traffic management. We got out in about 90 minutes and no clear sign on why we spent ages still. Roads clear once off site! Good luck! Wouldn't fancy that myself either.

    Carparks

In extremely slow moving/jammed traffic leaving blue campervan fields. Rolling forward a few vans every 5 mins.

    G23 Step Count

Hit 150k this year, Weds - Sun. Being at the back of E17 definitely added some!! Ice bucket ready when I get home.

    Carparks

Gridlock from blue. Having a wander round site and going about 4pm. Safe travels!
  24. Stunning. Seen some stuff on that stage over the years but that was history. In my top three Pyramid headliners no doubt.
  25. Read that as cruising. As it should be!
