  1. The amazing Moulettes are on Croissant Neuf at 1pm on the Sunday, as per their Instagram announcement! They're in the headliner position on the poster, is 1pm the usual time for 'headliners' on this stage?

  2. I'm amazed how little we know about what he's dropping considering it's around 12 hours until it releases worldwide; such a successful rollout, the hype's through the roof. To echo what everyone's saying above, the cover really does look like that of an instant classic - can't fucking wait to hear it, and I'm struggling to comprehend how lucky we are to be able to see it live so soon after release, on the world's greatest stage... he's gonna send it to the stratosphere.

Closing with 'Sing About Me' would be transcendent, we can only hope so hard 🤞

Did anyone see Balimaya Project last year?  Good? Bad?  I’ve stumbled across a few videos of them performing at EOTR last year and it looks great.

They were my standout surprise of the festival, saw them blind and they absolutely blew me away, simply infectious with happiness and groove. One of the most joyful hours in recent memory for me - definitely check em out if you get the chance:)

  4. Have we any idea where / when Big Thief are playing? They're shaping up to be one of my must-sees - seems they're in Cologne on the 23rd and Brussels on the 28th so any day is possible really at this point.

Goddmanit I thought this thread had been resurrected because something had been announced 😅

Hard agree. The closer the festival gets the more I’m wondering if we’re actually getting something before it. Would be strange not to, and Kendrick very much seems like the kind of artist who’s gonna drop new music out of nowhere so it really could come at any time, but considering how few festivals he’s doing this year it could easily be a short run of playing the hits before the new album festival shows come next year. I hope not though. I really want new shit, and it’d feel like a touch of a wasted opportunity if his Glastonbury set was just a bit of a throwaway ‘hits’ set.

I'd say there's every chance he drops a new single ahead of the summer shows, but late last year, he began touring a setlist that was essentially a victory lap of his career so far, going through his albums one at a time and playing a selection of "the hits" as well as some deeper cuts from each, which I think would be an incredible set for a Glasto headliner slot - a chance to cap off things so far, before launching into whatever comes next.

  7. Inability to sleep led to me look closer at the build video, and closer inspection revealed a (admittedly blurry) board of the cinema times, so I've made a go of transcribing them in the hopes it helps anyone with their plans:) Here goes! I don't think so! I don't believe many artists would be like 'ugh no' to signing something, and a setlist is a pretty good item to sign!

Thanks mate, I'll stick in in the bag:) Beyond excited now, my coach leaves Bristol just before 9am tomorrow - can't wait to see you all in the field!!

That WH Lung/BCNR/Crack Cloud/Porridge Radio/Simz overlap is killing me.

It just keeps getting more and more brutal 🤣 at least everyone on site will be watching some incredible sets wherever they may be at that time

Don't just ping pong between stages. Allow yourself to get lost in the site (ideally after a couple of drinks). There is a lot of effort put into making little corners part of the experience.

Go see someone talk at the literature tent. The speakers tend to be entertaining and erudite.

At least one of the days, just relax at the early sessions at the Garden Stage. Sit down and do not move. Let it spill over you as you recover from the previous night.

Big blankets for the evening. Although it's a really dry site generally, once the sun goes the temperature drops like fk. Coats after sundown, expect cold, cold nights!

The woods are beautiful after dark - take a wander through from the lefthand exits (as if facing the Garden stage). Expect all sorts to be going on at the Piano stage in the small hours!

Just so you know there’s always a party going on at the Cider Bus.

And the Disco Ship is fun after hours.

If you are looking for some peace & quiet during the day - go for a wander in the sunken garden.

Thanks so much everyone - some amazing tips, all very much appreciated:) Honestly cannot wait to start exploring all of these options come Thursday, and can't believe how soon that is. ❤️

  11. If they don't post them ahead of time, I'll be heading into the arena as soon as it opens around 1 on Thursday, which is probably around 5-6 hours before the first music starts, so I'll happily go straight to the boards at the bus and post the times up on here for people if someone else hasn't got there first 🙂

Welcome to the party. Who are your must see acts at the moment? Just to give us an idea for similar recommendations?

Thank you! Good question - my absolute must-sees are (clashes permitting): Jonny Greenwood (!!) Little Simz, Squid, King Krule, Richard Dawson, Hot Chip, Black Country New Road, Lazarus Kane, Wu-Lu, Sarathy Korwar, Jerkcurb, and Dry Cleaning, and others I'm excited for are Damon Albarn, The Comet is Coming, PVA, bdrmm, Yard Act and caroline. I've also heard good things about Stereolab but never had much of a listen to their stuff so will probably see them.

  13. OK, I've finally caved in... after eyeing up the line-up since it dropped and dreaming of End of the Road for years, a particularly appetising Twicket appearing means I'll be joining all you beautiful people in the fields once more to close out what has been a beautiful summer returning to live music! So many favourites to choose from on the line-up as things are, but who are your must-sees for me to check out / people who should I make sure not to miss? Honestly so buzzing to be hopping on the train just as it gears up to leave the station🙂
