  1. Could they show a replay on the Pyramid at midnight? Would have to turn the sound right down but otherwise I don't think it would breach the license. Anyone trying to spoil the result gets a kicking.
  2. At least for us, lead booker within a few minutes, everyone else only after it sold out.
  3. I'm 27 but probably fit best in the group you're talking about. I don't think we're as big as you think, but regardless I'd much rather a Foals or QOTSA headline set on Other to the dinosaurs we seem to have to settle for to get a rock band on the Pyramid, which inevitably means not a lot good on the alternative stages. More pop stars and rappers please.
  4. About £1000 I think. Maybe up to £1500 closer to the time if I Iove the lineup, the forecasts solid and my mates already have tickets. But it would have to be a special price just for me after being unsuccessful in the sales. Paid £200 for golden circle for the Stones last year and it was full of twats (still just about worth it though I think, wouldn't do it for many other acts though). If everyone's got to pay it, no more than £500 or it'll stop being good.
  5. Pricier for food, definitely. Noticed the giant yorkies were a few quid more than they were at Download just 2 weeks earlier as well, I thought Glastonbury had a reputation for keeping the vendors in check a bit more? Cans of pop for £2 is cheaper than I remember it though. Also I remember the co-op being close to normal supermarket prices last year so very disappointed with them. £4.35 for a bag of pissing minstrels???
  6. Indonesian Cocunut Curry opposite BBC Introducing was the best thing again this year. Special mention to the brownies place at William's Green doing a brownie and a milkshake deal for £6 - I had a smaller, worse brownie from a place between Other/Silver Hayes for £6.95 and I had a smaller, worse milkshake near Left Field for £6. Dosa was interesting, I've never thought to have a spicy mashed potato toastie before. £1.50 for a bhaji the size of my head was great though. I didn't have anything bad so the worst would be a place called Loaded Burger. I feel like a dick for writing that but I was walking around near the bandstand around 1am and the guy on the stand said "Excuse me, do you want a burger?" and handed it to me, so I ate it and it was thoroughly average.
  7. 1. Elton John 2. Young Fathers 3. Editors
  8. It says 14-16 June so 3 days.
  9. Think I'll put the decision off until I see the setlist from their warmups. Although the idea of either being a mile away or having to sit through Lil Nas X is probably going to be decisive. Think how much I'm itching for a pit by Sunday will also be a big factor, Amyl and the Sniffers was a highlight last year just for that. Wonder if the Elton pull will be so great that I can slip away and check out a bit of Cavetown before and still manage to wade back in? Probably not.
  10. Think this is actually the happiest I've been on lineup day of the 4 years I've been going. Could easily fill out 3 days of things I'd see without looking up some of the names I don't recognise. Still upset about missing QOTSA or Elton though.
  11. Earache seems to have been further relegated to just Thursday now. We've got Skindred, Ho99o9 and ALT BLK ERA. Anyone spotted anything more (The Hu mentioned above)?
  12. Would it be okay if a fully grown adult turned up by himself to watch Basil Brush? Asking for a friend
  13. I've never seen anything at the bars but don't often check, but wouldn't be surprised as it's becoming more of a thing recently (was at the 6 Nations last month and they were pushing the 0% Guinness HARD). But you don't 'bother' the ice cream vans, no one bats an eye if you just get a soft drink and all the food vendors have them too, even the ones with crap food (= no queue). All the fruit salad places have juice and there was a really good milkshake place last year. But also, like, water? Just get a refillable bottle and bring it with you.
  14. Thinking the initial poster was supposed to have Other headliners on the second line, and they had to change it last minute because QOTSA dropped out. Makes that little outburst a bit more understandable.
