  1. Pretty much sums it all up. Not rumours or been predicted that much but I’d also throw in Mitski, St. Vincent, First Aid Kit and maybe Roísín Murphy as potential Park headliners. And IDLES for JP but I think they’ll be on Other as most others seem to think. As you say, Park headliners look very open. There’s also still the likes of Editors and Manics who are around and could be back; just left off the first poster. We already have some acts (Suzanne Vega, maybe some others) that we’ve heard are still playing but been dabbed down from the initial announcement.
  2. Courtney Barnet’s Sunday. She put out a poster of her tour dates a while before the Glasto announcement and it had Glasto down for the 26th. She then replaced it with another tour poster that didn’t have Glasto on it, iirc. Sick, cheers.
  3. Nah they were third down WH last time they played in 2017. In 2020 they were supposed to be on the Park, I’d expect them to still be there this year, second or third down.
  4. Both of them link to separate bandsintown listings for Glastonbury that show the dates as 22nd-26th and 24th-26th, respectively. So I think it’s just pulling the first day of each of those listings. I think Inhaler actually are on the Friday, though, based on something I heard from someone who works for them.
  5. Don’t think they’re playing pal sorry!
  6. Usual caveats that Friday could in some cases be listed as the first (main) day of the festival and some of ain’t convinced that Griff/Easy Life were serious about being on the Pyramid. Friday Billie Eilish (Pyramid) Foals (Other) Blossoms (Other) St. Vincent The Jesus and Mary Chain Rufus Wainwright Sleaford Mods (Other) Bonobo (West Holts) Robert Plant & Alison Krauss Four Tet Khruangbin Crowded House Confidence Man (Park) Saturday Paul McCartney (Pyramid) Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds (Pyramid) HAIM (Pyramid) Skunk Anansie The Waterboys (Acoustic) Beabadoobee Sunday Kendrick Lamar (Pyramid) Diana Ross (Pyramid) Pet Shop Boys (Other) Years & Years Courtney Barnett Herbie Hancock Snarky Puppy Angelique Kidjo Clairo Bicep (West Holts) Nightmares on Wax (West Holts) Turnstile Not Friday IDLES Charli XCX Mitski Koffee Elbow Not Saturday Arlo Parks (Park) Wet Leg Supergrass Inhaler Not Sunday First Aid Kit Leon Bridges Little Simz (West Holts) Metronomy Phoebe Bridgers Wolf Alice girl in red Any Day (stage confirmed) Burna Boy (Other) Sigrid (John Peel) Griff (Pyramid) Easy Life (Pyramid)
  7. Got talking to this girl whilst I was out last night who’s involved in the theatre and circus area at Glasto. She said there have been quite a lot of changes for 2022 but couldn’t go into most of them. One thing she did say was that they’re starting a thing where they show screenings of independent film makers etc. We ended up watching one of the films that they’ve got on at this year’s festival and it’s some documentary about “loveshy” people that a university student made as a uni project. It’s on YouTube. But they’re having things on that aren’t already publicly available, too. I thought it was good and will be interested to see what else they have on. Video below.
  8. Khruangbin were on Park in 2020 so I imagine they’ll still be there. They were probably like 3rd down at the time I reckon so I guess it depends on how much they’ve actually bumped up the acts who’ve been rolled forward.
  9. Simz subbed by Bonobo on Friday, Four Tet headlining JP that night. Leon Bridges headline Saturday.
  10. Think so. His last two albums reached number 5 in the charts. His last album before his 2014 slot reached number 34. I see loads of people listening to him/talking about him these days, never did back then.
  11. NIN or Biffy? Basically NIN turned up to Leeds fest and found out they couldn’t use their proper stage set up or something because of what Biffy already had set up for their show. Trent went on some twitter rant crying about it and referred to Biffy as “Biffy Clyro (whoever the fuck they are)”. They are a band that is bigger than you here and hence they are headlining above you pal!
  12. All guesswork but Caribou and Fontaines were both playing Park in 2020. Caribou was/is being predicted by most people to headline the Park. Fontaines have probably got a bit bigger since 2020 so they may have been moved up to another stage, or they could probably headline that stage, too. IDLES we have nothing on. Most people predicting a mid-high Other slot for them but again it’s total guesswork.
  13. Yeah, they’d have to do the same with an act from weekend 1 if they did that.
  14. The first two obvs won’t (I was joking with Tool) but with Dua Lipa already being booked for weekend 2 I don’t think it’s a massive stretch. I do agree that someone like Interpol or YYYs are more likely, however.
  15. Dua Lipa is free on the 2nd and playing a show in Barcelona the day before. Would mean shows 3 days running but it’d be in Barca, Barca, Madrid (with her then playing Barca again the following week lol).
  16. Imagine so. She played Williams Green in 2019 so I reckon early Park or JP this year.
  17. Yep, at Leeds we got a fairly normal set (really just missing Hurt, iirc), but they obviously played without their full stage show (thanks to Biffy Clyro!) and didn’t seem to wanna be there. Reading two days later got a weirder setlist, but it actually doesn’t look bad now. Would just be crap if you showed up knowing 3 or 4 songs. Presumably they used those two days to work on their paddy and not allow the crowd to enjoy them. That Biffy set was brilliant, though. One of the best headline sets I’ve seen at a festival. But still a tier below NIN at their best, of course.
  18. Sigrid is the complete opposite of sad girl indie wtf!
  19. Funny because that Biffy set was 100x better than NIN before them.
