  1. Depends what type of neighbours you want. The fields opposite the Other Stage are good, but for complete peace, camp just inside the Wicket gate. Most of the fields are a bit rough and the noise DOES NOT STOP so if you intend on sleeping, factor that in. Don't camp on a trackway and make friends with your neighbours- most importantly- flat ground. rolling around inside your tent on a hill is no fun. Without knowing any more about you, that's my general advice. Oh and don't campy under the electricity pylons- the hum will drive you nuts. Tips? Forget all that. Just make sure you can always find your friends, it'll be overwhelming at first and you WILL get lost. But that's OK. Don't miss the sunrise, don't worry about getting from stage to stage for any band, and let yourself go. Invest in a good torch, a good backpack, steer clear of the maniacs. Arriving by coach is a bit of a pain, and depending on when you arrive be prepared to wait- have water with you.
  2. In the past if the traffic management system people see a problem building up on Tuesday evening, they'll allow you to park but not start partying 👍🏻
  3. You will have some scope to choose your pitch, the stewards are usually overwhelmed so if you get someone pointing you at a slope/next to the path just ignore them and use common sense. As for glass definitely a no-no, although they tend to search every 5th vehicle at peak times. Look at past overhead photos- locations of waste disposal, water etc. have seen some vans parked literally facing down hill at 35deg- crazy. And yes you can move (discreetly) if you're neighbours or something else is ruining it for you.
  4. Yeah as people have said, by Friday it doesn't matter what car park you get directed to, but if you have a particular field in mind to camp in obviously get as close to that gate as possible. Remember you have to get out on the Monday (if you're planning to) and strategic car placement can save hours of queuing to leave the site. You could take two cars first thing Wednesday and leave one there but that's getting into serious logistics 😂
