  1. I just have visions of the guy shaking his fist as trolleys pass him by. Maybe going as far as to do the British tut under his breath! I'm hoping he doesn't explode in rage at any innocent trolley-pullers at the fest, they'd be some bemused 🤣
  2. No idea if this is an appropriate post. Please do remove if not. Just thought others might be interested to see the rapidly degenerating pinned post on reddit for "Newbie Tips". The mod does not like trolleys and is not afraid to try to force his opinion on others. Threatening to report people to their employers and all sorts! It really makes me appreciate this forum! 😁 Thanks guys for being sane and open to contrary opinions! Nb. Realised the embedded link doesn't show the comment and is huge. Soz. You'll have to follow the link to see the comment section which is the subject of my post.
  3. When everyone was doing the "what is your single must see act each day" the near absence of anyone saying Kendrick was noticeable. Personally, I'd not even heard of him before. For a Bit, I though it was the guy who sang "if there's any justice". I appreciate this likely says more about me than anything. But I don't think anyone would say he is a household name like Jaz Z, Kayne or Stormzy. I'm just a bit salty I'll have to move for the Sunday headliner. I do enjoy my Sunday day back of pyramid sit. Tis a tradition!
  4. Yes. Big risk. Multiple threads on efest already. If you can take the coach, do. Your only guarantee to get your ticket. I also recall a previous thread on here asking for Bristol parking advice with lots of good advice. Perhaps have a look for it?
  5. I get you are being optimistic, but I think we are all aware that worse case scenario is that they lose the ticket. There are risks here that have been fully explained by posters above. I hope that it works out for everyone intentionally missing their coaches (for whatever very good reason), but there a huge risk here which must be acknowledged. I think @Lycrasaid it best above. OP made a huge and avoidable planning error. They had months/years to tell Seetickets they were bringing 2 kids. I feel massive sympathy for them, but this is a self imposed problem. Hoping they are ok and get it sorted!
  6. Im gonna assume what with the connections you have, you are referring to parking at one of the Glamping options. You'll not be able to get to PGA by car. Probably best to go to your Glamping, park up etc and then get a shuttle to PGA to get your tickets. The difficulty will be if you are in Sticklinch which doesn't have a shuttle to PGA.
  7. I think she is asking about swapping the actual Glasto ticket not the CV pass. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no chance! 😂🙈🤦‍♀️Not surprised Seetickets has not responded. The whole point of personal issued tickets is to avoid the ability to pay for a ticket that is then given/"swapped" to someone else. You'd then get ppl buying tickets to make a huge mark up when they sell them to others. If you wanna use a campervan, someone in your group is going to have to "man-up" and drive it, or it's general camping for you! Luckily your friend still has time to buy a tent!
  8. Yes. Once you know where you are parked, you'll be able to see where the nearest gate is. Look at the Glasto 2022 map for more information on locations of car parks, gates, paths and fields. As mentioned above, you'll likely be Gate D unless you park really close to Gate A.
  9. You want West car parks so approach the site from the west to avoid being put in east car parks. Your choice is to approach the site from the east or west. Everything after that depends on where the stewards direct you. You can't choose where you park.

    Love the farm?

I would personally love there to be some sort of anti-hover or standing on seats toilet pledge/movement. It's one of those things that really triggers me - the selfishness of girls pissing, shutting or muddying the entire toilet. Would you do that at home or work? no. So bloody well don't do it at Glasto and take the toilet out of action for everyone else. There's a seat. Use it. You can wipe it first if you need/want to. Rant over.

    Love the farm?

I always take everything home and leave the campsite spotless. The bit I find difficult is the stages when you have empty cartons, etc, and the bins are only on the outskirts of the crowd. Try my best to create a pile of stuff and take it with me to a bin at the end, but it's harder to do in muddy years. Any handy tips or tricks ppl have developed for this issue which doesn't involve putting messy rubbish in my clean bag?
  12. From other postings on this forum, I believe performers get a number of physical tickets. There is no guest list as such. But I have no personal knowledge or experience, just what others have said. NB. If someone if offering to put you on a guest list for ££ high likelihood it's a scam.
  13. No idea. Sorry. You can of course buy them on your phone at any time?
  14. Near enough! 3am well past my bedtime anyway! 😉
  15. Phew! Glad you know and can prepare. Was really concerned that you might be a first time and were in for a bit of a shock! Hope you have a great time and get some parking sorted!
  16. Not many mentions of Billie E or Kendrick so far... 👀🤐 Thurs New York Brass Band Fri TLC Sat Macca Sun Diana Ross
  17. I don't know if you have been to Glastonbury before. Just thought I'd mention that the walk from the car to camping is a mere fraction of the walking you'll do over the 4-5 days at the festival. The site is huge and getting around can be a real physical challenge, especially if muddy. Just want to make sure you are aware what you are getting into if the initial walk is already a concern (I presume you'll be carrying all the stuff and your wife just walks)?
  18. Hijacking this thread. Sorry, not sorry! Was it open 24/7?
  19. Depends on if the steward is feeling nice. I would hope you wouldn't end up in pink, but there is nothing officially to stop it happening. The only disabled parking is that via the access. There arent blue badge parking spots too. Fingers crossed for you! If you do end far out, just take it easy and make sure you have a trolley to assist with your gear. Take a camping chair and have regular breaks.
  20. To the best of my recollection, the coach queue at PGA is kept separate to the car queue. It has to be as coaches have to keep dropping people and have space to do so. In comparison, the car parks can accommodate a very, very long line of stationary people. So coach queue tends to be an overall much quicker experience because there's not a mile long line of stationary people starting on Tues evening. Coaches generally only start arriving once the gates are open.
  21. I think i managed to get my request in on time. Really excited for the unique scavenger hunt of trying to find it! Do update this topic if/when bin photos go up on Instagram! Very exciting stuff!
  22. I could be wrong as I don't know how it works from different departures, but I believe you have an assigned coach (as how else would they sort the tickets) and so you have to catch the specific coach you are booked on. They advise arriving 15 mins beforehand. Tickets are passed out whenever the coach driver chooses to do it, usually mid journey.
  23. There is an EE tent you can charge your phone in, but honestly why wait? Get yourself a 20,000 anker power bank or look at the power bank swap EE will be running. A power bank is a useful thing generally so not a bad idea to invest. See all thing EE and charging here: https://ee.co.uk/why-ee/glastonbury
  24. Yes, yes it is. I've only ever arrived early Weds morning 5-7am-ish and it's completely the luck of the draw. They funnel some cars left (woohoo) and some cars right (noooooo PINK). We always get pink. Never been lucky. You know what they say, go pink once... and you'll buy a trolley for next year!
