Would Within Temptation accept fourth down main and Neck Deep sub Evanescence? Just my selfish wishlist so none of the bands I like end up clashing.

I'm still worried about the likely clash between Friday's main and second stage. Means I'll have to make some tough choices.

I think it'll be the last "big" announcement. Around May there'll probably be another dozen or so smaller bands to fill.

What would you prefer right now: - Day splits for the logo bands and a few others, but virtually no new band announcements - Entire lineup released like Hellfest, but we still have no idea what the day splits are.

I don't think Within Temptation would be that low. They'll likely be second stage headliners or 3rd down main.

Main stage preduction

I think this could work. Thursday especially. If you can have Frank Carter open Reading main stage you can have Trivium open Download's.

If they continue with four days. Initially had SOAD instead of Rage but I honestly don't think they deserve it right now. Thought they could do a "When We Were Young" theme as well, Friday MS especially.

Pendulum are suited for the dark, so the only logical slot is second stage headliner on one of the Metallica days. BMTH and Slipknot have a lot of crossover fans so it'd be stupid to have them clash.

How likely are the rumoured positions? Eg. Ghost headlining second stage on Sunday?

Friday looks good. Mainly because there's good alternatives to MGK.

Rough guess of placements. Halestorm could possibly be third down.

2022 was my first year at Reading (at 30). Usually go Download but the past couple of years have been too 'classic rock' orientated, so Reading was a fresh experience. But unless the lineup is astounding I doubt I'd go again, the vibe (in the campsite especially) was just... not for me. Next year's Download is more my taste though.

IF MCR is one of the headliners, how quick would the day tickets go? I'm guessing not as fast as Arctic Monkeys but considering 3 Milton Keynes shows were sold out in like 20 minutes it'll sell out eventually at least, right?

What's the likelihood of MCR playing? Honestly they'd be the only band that would persuade me to go again.

We all know Ronnie's a twat but I'd still go out of my way to see them. They've got so many bangers.
