Plsssss Heart pt V. Heart 3 is one of my favourite songs by him, you can really hear the hunger. If I remember correctly, it came out shortly after Good Kid leaked early (hence the lyrics "will you let hip hop die on Oct 22nd?"). Really marked the start of his climb to the top of the game.

the single with Jay Z, Diet Coke and the stuff on the Nigo album have been fantastic. "Punch Bowl" has been on repeat for me
  4. One of Doja Cat's most celebrated songs, Woman, has these lyrics: And you can argue Megan Thee Stallions entire brand "hot girl summer" is about feeling good in your skin without the need of male approval.
  5. Finished Catch-22 for the first time. Was a slog to begin with, albeit quite funny and then really picked up in the end. I feel like the slog at the start was the point though, really hammered home the madness of bureaucracy. Wanted a lighter read after that so picked up my first Terry Pratchett, Equal Rites. Whizzed through that, lovely book and I loved the whimsical descriptions.
  6. my first, so excited! I've always been weary of camping, did wilderness last year and it did confirm that camping is not for me generally, but I will happily do it for Glasto.

Imagine telling some you broke your leg, and they say "actually all limbs matter"... do you see how much of a c**t you're being with that statement? It's not black lives matter *more* it's just that maybe it's good to have a conversation about how black lives seem to be treated with little worth. For example. in the UK "Black children are almost three times more likely to be given a caution or sentence than white children" or how about "Black women are more than 5 times as likely to die in pregnancy or childbirth than white women." Yeah, watching Bojack made me get therapy a while back and I'd highly recommend it, even if you feel okay! It can be very healing to just get your thoughts out there and have a professional help make emotional connections for you. Only downside is the bloody cost...

From the doc it looked like he felt quite self conscious that the meds made him gain weight and he has since refused them and therapy "I don't negotiate with therapists"

  18. could've announced a windfall tax on energy companies who will probably make bank from this. Green New Deal could create a lot of jobs + help insulate homes which will help keep heating costs down
  19. Aye, I have a friend who is on PIP - her energy bills are going up but no change to her benefits, going to suck so hard for her and countless other disabled people
