Mental health stuff is good, the GND stuff is decent (will probably need even more investment than promised as the years go on) but I really hate the narrative on crime, I don't think dealing with criminals differently after they have committed crimes really helps reducing crime as apposed to dealing with the root causes (poverty in most cases, school exclusions, community support) BUT the electorate really loves ppl being tough on crime so its whatever. Just the evidence rarely shows that it helps

I liked that he has pledged the Green New Deal, but I wonder if he actually will be endorsing or putting forward the one that Labour for a Green New Deal have (which includes nationalisation and repealing trade union act)

Ok this song is insane, but I think Kanye ruins it. 3 Stacks is pouring his heart out using his verse to talk directly to Donda and is asking her how his parents are doing and stuff, and Kanye then uses his verse to complain about Travis Scott and Drake and says "where's my red hat!!!". If he actually brought out another Hey Mama, Only One, Roses level verse this could be an all time Kanye song. Just further exemplifies how far he's fallen. Here's a working link to the song btw:

Gave it one spin, loved it. I never really listened to the singles until the tiny desk (and when she played them at APE) so all the songs sounded really fresh. Standing Ovation has insane energy. The production is lush.
