They deffo hadn’t yesterday 🤣 just my luck

    …or maybe I didn’t click far enough

Impressive then, esp if it’s the two nights, although it will no doubt dent Reading demand, it certainly very much proves remaining relevance.

Sold out 1st March, the day tickets went in sale. The demand is very much there.

Was really looking forward to The Kooks other year at Tramlines and was majorly underwhelmed unfortunately.

Seen them a few times. Nothing super special, but good festival band for me. Wouldn't pay to see them at a headline gig but decent fun as part of a lineup.

Not a great deal of difference is there ?  Noel as Headliner and Frank Turner.  Think the 3 subs are worse than Tramlines.   Kooks, McKenna and Vaccines v BBC, Tom Grennan and Human League.

Noel, Frank Turner, Kooks and Vaccines all big draws for my partner and I, so it's a sizeable difference for us.  Doubt we'll swap as local to Tramlines and got Early Bird so tickets were (relatively) cheap, but considering doing Y Not as well now.

Me too, my girlfriend received her bottle yesterday Annie Mac and the post man delivered one today for me Holly Humberstone. Same address and assume were sent the same time. So, maybe still time to receive a treat in the post  for those who you missed out yesterday.

Nowt here. Third year in a row I've signed up and nothings come through. Oh well, fingers crossed for next year.

  5. Catfish will see themselves a level above Truck/Y Not/Tramlines/Kendall now, especially with the reunion hype. If they are booked for UK festivals, could they be headlining Community, if that returns this year?

Old Paolo is bigger than Snot Patrol these days. Could actually see Snow Patrol headlining T'Other one night.

You could be right. Either way, it's a very weak trio just from an objective perspective. I'll take him cause my partner's a fan, but Jamie T should be a sub at a festival like this, and neither Snow Patrol/Paolo are exactly massive names anymore. Sunday headliner is always a throwback act so Human League fits there, but will all be about the undercard for me this year.

Not Tramlines, but this is a steal at just over £40, and nice way to kick off the festival season - tickets from Friday

I mean my music taste is pretty mass market so I get I'm maybe not the target audicene, but for £40 this seems....not great.

  8. Any shouts of Busted? They're active over the summer, and haven't played in Sheffield on their many reunion tours. I thought McFly was good fun last year so I'd take them. Would love one of Girls Aloud, Keane or Busted for the Sunday. Would be nice to see that slot dedicated to some 00s nostalgia this year rather than a usual 80s/90s acts that never get much interest.

Suede have to be strong contenders.

EDIT actually they've already pretty much hinted the five letter band is Keane.

I don't think that any sort of hint at Keane, it just reads as standard social media engagement to me.

This would appear to rule out The Streets

Guess that also rules out Two Door Cinema Club who were speculated above. That's a shame for me as the biggest landfill indie fan on this site.

  11. Somebody on Truck forum claiming Jamie T and The Streets are confirmed headliners with Wet Leg on the bill (but this information isn't verified so take with a pinch of salt).

Jamie T feels like an obvious choice for Tramlines, even if I'm underwhelmed personally, and Wet Leg scream T'Other Stage headliners to me.

Also pretty sure Vistas will be on the bill as they said "we'll be back in Sheffield next year" at their Leadmill show in November. No clue where they'd play now, probably Leadmill stage?
