Tyler, the creator would be a good booking

Had a quick chat with Melvin on Sunday in the main arena at Reading and he told me the artist had headlined in the past 10 years. I’m going to go with Blink, seems plausible that when they announced the reunion, festival republic would’ve been quick to getting them booked
Paramore mate

Phoebe Bridgers would attract a huge crowd and could easily do MSW imo. She's literally a god to a large portion of the Reading audience

Leeds isn't getting scrapped don't be silly, one poor year won't make them cut half of the defining youth event of the year

Go down. soft sound.

That festival in Malaga at the end of August (Cala Mija) has been brought up here a few times as Arcade Fire are headlining (as are the Strokes and Florence & the Machine). They announced new acts today with AF still included atop the bill, so safe to say at this stage, they won't be dropping out of there I'd say. Still not sure I'd expect them at APE.
But looking at the rest of that bill, there are a few acts I could see added, but main question I've got is whether Idles are an option for this (ideally on The Strokes day to save me some cash!!)?
I wouldn't have thought they'd be headliner material, but if Jungle are....
Speaking of which, Jungle releasing new music next week. Maybe they're gonna go supersonic, and it'll look like a really smart booking?...
EDIT: Just spotted AF headlining a festival in Portugal in the first week of September too. That's new, is it? Bill includes Aphex Twin, Florence, the Blaze, m83, yeah yeah yeahs, amyl...
IDLES are a UK exclusive supporting Jamie T at finsbury

That is genuinely so bad

I'd have said she's just as big as at least Carner by practically any metric. More to the exact point all three nights are listed as two acts plus DJ.
loyle carner is subbing reading, arlo is headlining the great escape. He's far bigger

Guess that puts 1975 finsbury to bed. Maybe that Wilmslow show replaced it

@Tonybyates You heard anything?

I’ve heard that The 1975 either turned down/pulled out of Victorious, and are instead going to do a Finsbury Park show instead next summer.
(they previously had a show there lined up for 2020, but was cancelled due to covid)
this could be 75 too? In Wilmslow where they formed

Would almost certainly upstage whoever they are below as a sub i think. Their tour setup would have worked so well on Other stage - but ah well! I think they'll headline the pyramid at some point, currently on the backburner. Album seems to be doing well, better than the last one
Think this is a bit of an exaggeration - heaps of acts do arena tours that are impossible to get tickets for on twickets?
Yeah was more speaking for ones i've tried to get tickets for to be fair. To me they are the polar opposite to Arctic Monkeys (and I love them both), constantly self referential and mindful of their old material and fans so think a pyramid slot would be a real moment

I'm not a fan but when are this lot showing up on the farm? It's coming on a decade now when they've been the biggest thing in British alternative music for a decade.
2024 surely if they drop something?
I've said it so many times but they were booked to headline 2021 way back then. Covid ruined that and momentum but it's built up again, i've never know arena shows with this ticket demand. Literally nothing on twickets and hardly any have been listed for any dates across the last few weeks.
