Lost Flowers is my current non album track which I'd love to hear them play. But would take Bangers & Mash or The Daily Mail too. And Reckoner is a top tune. Gearing up for seeing them next week in Miami (7 days and counting!) been listening through the albums, TKOL continues to grow on me. Codex is such a beautiful song.

You can say what you want about Foo Fighters, but this is clearly the greatest rock anthem of the past 25 years.

Yeah I've used a corporate box a few times recently at the o2. It's great for getting drinks served as and when you want (they are not free mind, someone has to pay, so unless the company taking you is funding). You do not have access to the standing area, only the box. It's good for sitting down type concert/events. Not so much for more lively gigs (although we did manage to get a mini mosh-pit going in our box for Avenged Sevenfold!)
Personally I would rather just get tickets for the floor whenever possible.

We've hired mini-bus / MPV the last half a dozen years. It's obviously a bit more expensive than coach or multiple cars but it makes the trip par of the whole Glastonbury experience as it fills up en-route. We've found a 12 seater minibus sits 8 people comfortably with all luggage and booze. One of the boys spends hours making mix CDs for the trip (I will introduce him to BraveSirRobins spotify playlist one year). Only downside has been sliding in the mud last year and hitting a gatepost causing us to lose our deposit (£500).

You're doing nothing to dispel @The Nal's bedwetter theory about us all dude.
I managed to get a ticket for the Miami gig, very excited @SwedgeAntilles you'll be pleased to know I stayed dry!

I have just wet my pants about this. I will be in Miami for work when they are playing in the city! Now just got to work out how to get tickets.

I'm absolutely fine with that. I'm already having nightmares about being stood next to casuals, chatting their way through the set waiting for Creep.
This.
I am thinking of not watching Radiohead with friends in fear they will be moaning for songs off The Bends. Maybe we need an efests Radiohead gathering at the Pyramid, only for serious fans. Although I would expect everyone to jump around like loons should they play Creep and the like.

Fantastic effort @SwedgeAntilles for putting this altogether and the run-down of each album. Top stuff.

I can't believe there isn't more love for Let Them Eat Chaos by Kate Tempest. Phenomenal piece of music.

oh and in case nobody has posted it yet...

I admire the fact that a lot of you have the time to listen to so many new albums in one year, I've managed 14 which I think was pretty good. Looking through the list of albums released this year I realise there are so many I have missed somehow. Need more time. Anyway of the 14 this is my top 10 in order. I won't mention the 4 that missed out.
Kate Tempest
Bon Iver
David Bowie
Savages
Radiohead
Frightened Rabbit
Bat for Lashes
Leonard Cohen
Metallica
Biffy ClyroLooking forward to the efestivals top10 and spending my Christmas holiday checking out some new stuff.

Get off the fence and tell us how you really feel about the Foo Fighters.
Get your point though, for me I had the same feelings about Metallica which felt like they'd been playing any festival or gig going for years before their Glastonbury slot.Isn't that the same for any artist?

Every headliner normally has 1 encore , radiohead have always done 2
Really? Jeez old age must be catching up with me as my memory of that is obviously wrong (either that or I am always two sails to the wind)

If they'd left the goat out it would be nailed on Glastonbury. The goat has made it all a bit Ted Rogers 3-2-1 for me
