  1. yeh they were on the website for a while, there's a paragraph about them, saw it a few weeks back and was excited as saw them at great escape and they were good
  2. i can't even begin to imagine how chaotic and ramshackle moldy peaches is going to be
  3. i was underwhelmed on the line up and definitely wouldn't have bought tickets if i'd known the line up in advance (i got early bird, not doing that again), but i've been looking at it for a week and like it a little more now, and have also booked wide awake tickets today, which scratches my US garage rock itch somewhat. really surprised acts like osees and ty segall aren't playing PS, seeing as they're touring europe round there, and i was sure unknown mortal orchestra would be a shoe-in too. ah well.
  4. the more i look at it, the more surprise i feel about acts that aren't on it that we've talked about on this thread - osees, ty segall, etc. seems a bit thrown together.
  5. the walkmen are going to play the UK exclusively when i'm in spain, aren't they?
  6. 6music just announced they will be there too this year, feels like it's been further latitude-ified
  7. flights might determine your decision - i usually fly back on the monday but that day is silly for flight prices now, so coming back tuesday which is still cheaper with a another night in Barcelona's costs added on!
  8. walkmen dates are (so far) 2 nights in manhattan in late April. bodes well.....
  9. thanks, i had a look, no direct flights (from LGW) though, and not cheap either..
  10. i am in journey planning hell at the moment, ha, but madrid is deffo a good call if you can sync everything up. works out about £250 cheaper (for 2) all in, although the logistics are a bit of a headfuck. i could never be a tour manager....
  11. hmmmm it was pricier than i expected, but not horrific. probably still not worth doing though....
  12. went to book gatwick/BCN flights last night - boy have they shot up! well, through easyjet anyway - the monday ia NOT the day to fly back, ha. we've worked out it'a cheaper to have another night there and fly back tuesday - it was something like £160 one way vs' £30 on the tuesday. might look into trains...
  13. the new pj album is early 23, and on a new label, i'm lead to believe, so could well be revealed with this announcement
  14. as i'm lead to believe pulp are only doing one UK festival next year and it's not glasto, some sort of exclusivity thing
  15. springsteen is around. admittedly maybe not quite the right demographic but maybe a consideration
  16. they’re just not on sale yet, i believe. there’s some sort of delay on when months become available a bit like flights. especially through booking.com best thing to do is check in semi regularly, that’s what we usually do with hotel diagonal.
