    i think i'm most excited/nervous about the new map. i acknowledge the line up will have clashes, and there's not much anyone can do about those, but the new-ish layout of the Barcelona site could make or break things....

    no no no you're wrong. i've seen them well over 15 times - including the last two primaveras - i just do not need to see them on the bill again when that space could be given to another band. thanks.

    i think the effect of F1 shouldn't be underestimated too - i looked at the flights we bought for £400 a few months back (gatwick to BCN) and the exact same flights are now £850. And that's not even flying wedcnesday to monday - we had to take an extra day in BCN to get cheaper tuesday flights back. so yeah, adding a 335 euro ticket on top of that AND accommodation, and you can see why there might not be that many non-Spanish last minute bookers, unless they're creative with flights/transfers.

    i just have a policy of 'if it happens, it happens', and leave it at that. maybe a headliner will take priority, or a thing i'll never get to see again, but on the whole it's better not to stress about it i reckon. i had a lot planned that i didn't see last year, but also lots of stuff i just chanced upon that turned out to be super memorable, especially after midnight.
