  1. LCD at Field Day might not be a bad shout. At least paired with Fred Again. The only thing is that they have to react to the sales for the last couple of years showing that acts who attract a younger audience have been much more successful to them. I think we’ve seen that already with Stormzy, but suspect that’s not the end of it.
  2. That’s not true. Disclosure was the highest selling day they have had with no reduced tickets at nearly 50k. Field Day was not far behind also with no reductions. maybe a couple of competitions but no more.
  3. I think Loyle Carner, probably as a second stage headliner, is pretty likely. Most of the others also.
  4. This is another AEG festival so could it make them possible for APE? Same weekend. Last year they shared 3 headliners.
  5. Probably wouldn’t count Bjork out as well
  6. If at Glasto maybe supporting GnR at BST is more likely?
  7. Pretty solid choice with who is around
  8. Yep. Keep missing the Boardmasters exclusive thing. Seen it now. Just heard from a good source an offer was in. But that was last year.
  9. Possibilities seem to be along the lines of LCD / Florence / Little Simz / Underworld / Four Tet / Lizzo / Liam Gallagher.
  10. I’d say he’s more likely for Reading, and they don’t usually share top of the bill acts.
  11. Jamie XX was the year before the increase. And you’re right it was 10k not 15k.
  12. Totally agree with you. Only thing I’d say is that the capacity has grown by 15K since Jamie XX headlined last, although it did sell well. My hope is still Fred Again / Aphex Twin but I think it’s optimistic
  13. Been saying that for a while, pretty sure Field Day will be Fred Again and someone else. Jamie XX / Aphex Twin / Goldie or Four Tet would be the best guesses with other shows around the time. (Aphex is a shot in the dark to be fair).
  14. Lana Del Ray album coming. Could she be a U.K. exclusive? Seem to recall that was the chat for 2020.
  15. Are you saying it’s Bieber? or am I missing the point…
  16. Just seen it on their Instagram page. awesome!
  17. I’d still love it to be honest.
  18. May well be in the minority. But GnR at Glasto is what I dreamt of in 1996.
  19. Is this real? Can’t see this backed up anywhere. Amazing if it is!
  20. All of last years shows were announced on 21st Nov. If we don’t see something tomorrow with 3 weeks lead time to Christmas, I doubt we will see anything before the end of Jan / start of February.
  21. Also a good point and may be possible, she could even have deferred the show. Superstruct have Victorious, Tramlines and Truck in the U.K. Most unlikely, although Victorious has a big enough capacity for her now.
  22. Very valid point. However Boardmasters had already announced their line up for 2019 when they were taken over by Superstruct in April that year. Having previously been owned by Global. Under who there was less emphasis on exclusivity. It’s entirely possible there won’t be any effect. But will be intriguing to see
