So what do we think? Field Day and a Strokes announcement Mon or Tues with tickets on sale at the end of the week, just in time for pay day?

Probably will be again. And guessing MIA was main headliner, so they must have found a replacement. Maybe my Fred Again / Aphex Twin prediction will come true after all

That would make sense with Historic bookings. but with the MIA cancelation it would have to be something that came together in the last week or two

From what we know and rumours - Stormzy - confirmed The Strokes - Strong rumour Florence and The Machine / Lana Del Rey / Fred Again all potential

Seems to have been a specific comment she made on someone else’s tweet. Or at least that’s what was mention by her at one point. Agree the booking is weird.

Good point. They have said they have no plans but aren’t counting anything out.

I can see Everything But The Girl sliding into the line up in a similar way The Smile did last year. The new single is hot.

They have to do the mid week events as part of the deal with Tower Hamlets, so will be split over two weekends, even if it stays at 4 days.

That is a very good spot. I still think Lizzo is a good shout for this, but you might have it nailed.

Yep. Chems had already played APE though and Kraftwerk were the cancelled 2020 headliner.

Agree Field Day have better options. I think the booking teams are the same now. Chems and Kraftwerk in 22 were APE bookings at Field Day.

Nick Cave also did well the first year he was booked, but not so much last year.
