Nothing arrived as yet - physical tickets for us too, I've emailed Kaboodle for an update - If I get a response I'll share it.

Big image are decent (used to be called Ivory Wave), Planet are like an off brand Lidl version of DMA's (the lead singer is Johnny Tooks brother), Andrew Cushin is a bit of a Noel Gallagher wannabe.
No clue on the rest. Was hoping for holy youth movement but they're obviously not there.

Eve has pulled out as well, so a replacement will be announced soon apparently.

Bit better than expected tbh 🤏

Anyone any idea when the next batch of acts for this will be announced. My best mate has tickets but not quite enough on the line up to tempt me just yet, but a couple of additions may just do it.
Not sure, but my expectations are low if the tramlines and truck second waves were anything to go by - barely worth the wait/announcement...

So still one headliner (that's headlined before) to be announced.
Looks pony so far imo, a lot of room for improvement. Hoping it's because it's the first lot...

I remember you from the other two cancelled event threads 2020/2021 - I'd say your record so far hasn't been bad haha

First announcement 22/9 (Wednesday) at 6pm. Instagram post has a graphic which looks a lot like the chems robots.
Thinking it could remain largely unchanged tbh with an added big name or two - looking forward to seeing something soon though, was utterly depressing when it was cancelled again

Be interesting to know what's encouraged Standon that doesn't apply here. Could be a number of factors I guess, stability of organisation to cover a loss, ability to adapt to late changes, local council support
Beyond caring any more.
The governments contempt for the industry coupled with the upside down rules (on what type of events can happen vs which can't) is just impossible to try and even understand. It's bullshit. -
It's cancelled 😔
-
Yeah, painful - I'm still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. No point pumping messages out unless they have something definitive to say.
But, it's bloody close now with it being July, time for a decision.

James have a fair few festival dates(9 ir 10)in the UK, so will just come over and isolate before hand if needed.
To be fair DMA's could have done this too, but looks like they aren't. They had about the same number of dates too...

Big pig too which I know they aren't as big, they are an extra act to find. I'm quite positive so I'm looking at it as all the evidence is adding up. Hopefully we get an announcement tomorrow now. Will see soon enough.
So it could be: DMA's, Pale Waves, Kelis and Eve that are out.
Doesn't Tim Booth live in LA? Not sure where that leaves James -
Disappointing, but if that's the biggest hit we'd take then so be it. Just need to know one way or another now.

Haven't dmas been dropped from tramlines? Positive they have on the new day splits poster?
Good catch!
Edit: If that's the case then their Leeds Millennium Park gig I'm going to is probably done for as well. -

What makes you think them?
I guess because they're an international act?
Arguably it can't be them as:
- they're also doing tramlines which is going ahead
- they're only playing UK dates all the way until August, it looks like their plan is to travel here, quarantine and then do the string of only UK summer dates
Kelis is an international act, but I mean -
It's one of those where I'm trying not to get hopes up whilst also thinking - "well, wouldn't they have just cancelled if it wasn't going ahead by now?!"
