  1. This is what the NME article said: “The canopy will bathe the audience with dynamic light and the mesh is 90 per cent transparent, so fans can dance under the open sky into the early hours.” It would be a real shame if the true extent of the lighting was seen during the Silent Disco
  2. I assume it would be a bit like The Hangar at Parklife. The overhead visuals won't be as effective in the daylight but the new sound system should still make it a good stage until the sun goes down and the visuals can be fully appreciated
  3. Wow, that looks unreal - so glad R&L are changing things up a bit! The Prodigy's set is going to go off there
  4. Is there a reason why she wouldn't perform Radio or West Coast?
  5. Back to the music... I've been checking out some artists on the poster that I haven't listened to before and I've really liked James Marriott's new album. I knew of him from YouTube but had never listened to any of his stuff. Did anyone here see his MSE set last year? Seems like someone who'd go down well in the FR tent
  6. This is what I thought, I assumed I'd walk in and see a big light-up Chevron hanging from behind the stage. Not seen anything to link it with possible Standard Oil sponsorship.
  7. Barry Can't Swim Overmono Prodigy Fred Lana I also think Kenny Beats will put on a great set, his Boiler Room x Primavera Sound is impressive.
  8. Looks like an announcement is imminent...
  9. I also agree with this. After Bicep's daylight set last year I really can't see them making the same mistake with Skrillex. Arcadia headliners maybe?
  10. It's obviously only a guess but it's the first year he's been allowed out of the US to perform so with Wireless' demographic I'd assume they would've jumped at the chance to book him.
  11. I don't think it'll be his first UK festival appearance. It said 'first UK festival announcement' when R&L confirmed him. He'll most definitely be at Wireless, probably as a headliner too.
  12. I got mine earlier this morning. Group of 5 of us going again after last going in 2022.
  13. I think Kenya Grace is a shoe-in for the Dance Tent
  14. RandL Twitter account has just replied to their own announcement Tweet saying 'You guys need to get better at guessing'. Is Dan the new admin??
  15. Becky Hill is my favourite rapper EDIT: Was meant to quote Chad's message above about Becky Hill being a rapper!
  16. Really sorry to hear this, sending my best wishes to you and your family
  17. Out of pure curiosity, is there anything ruling Blur out of R&L this year?
  18. There's no way I can even try to comprehend anything you say after you've just said that Lil Xan is better than Trippie Redd
  19. Yeah, quite popular with the rap/urban demographic and puts on a really good live show tbf
  20. Love how they spelt the biggest artist's name wrong
  21. He wasn't mouthing the words, he released a preview of a new song which sampled Let Her Go (which is by Passenger btw) which got mixed reviews. He's since deleted the post and said it won't be dropping. He's most definitely still one of the most popular urban artists around atm
  22. This might be the worst take I've heard on this forum
  23. Agree with most of this mate, I was just bored at work and fancied having a go! It's basically just acts I'd like to see haha
