Just welled up a bit on the second listen-through of Mother I Sober, reading with lyrics up. Fucking incredible. Generational talent.

As with Kendrick I always feel like I need multiple listens for it to sink in, but I thought that was fantastic. Been a fan since Section 80 and the man always amazes me how he continually swerves all my expectations with every new release and stays such a creative force considering how huge he is. Die Hard, Count Me Out, Mother I Sober, Mr. Morale, Mirror some of my initial favourites. Going into my second listen through now. Mr. Morale def the opener on the Pyramid.

So I want to know (apologies if this has been discussed before) - opening track of his Glasto set, what are your thoughts? One from Mr Morale and The Big Steppers? Or from his previous albums? I want to know: 1. Your predicted opener 2. What track you'd most like to see open his set if you could choose 3. As a bonus, what track do you think would be a perfect closer?

Hi folks, random question and not announcement related (hope that's ok to post here) but just wondered if anybody might know the answer with all the mighty glasto knowledge that floats around in the forum. Has there ever been a headliner you can remember who refused to have their set broadcast on TV? I'm going and my brother isn't and he's praying Kendrick's set is shown. Wondered if it was part of the contract agreements to show the sets or anything.

I'd like many of the same producers he's worked with over the years to still be involved because they've had incredible results already. Need Sounwave, DJ Dahi, Terrace Martin and also hopefully more production from 9th Wonder. Hit-Boy could make some magic. I guess it all depends on the genre of the album though. I would be partial to Kendrick with some Premier production. The title to me sounds like it's going to incorporate more funk and a little bit of jazz again, but who knows. I think it almost sounds like it could be a sort of punky album which ties in with the rumours of a rock-influenced record from aaaaages ago, although it has been a long time. Artists I'd love to see featured would definitely be Little Simz after he's praised her in the past.

Does anybody know if there is a high quality video of his Day N Vegas set? Absolute god-tier performance but every video I've found is horrendous sound-quality wise!

Saying that, I’ve just read the comment above mine which shows I clearly know fuck all 😂

I’m well up for acts headlining that people don’t deem ‘ready’ because it adds an element of excitement to it all, but my god Harry Styles does not seem like a glasto headliner to me. If he’s in that spot it surely must be because absolutely nobody else is available. What a shame it’d be to go from Kendrick Lamar to him! Still, there’s not many greater things about festivals than an act who’s deemed not ready to headline turning up and absolutely smashing it out the park.

I'm sorry to be a pain but I'm at work and have tried scrolling through to find out what's going on with Kendrick - does it look like he's still on board then? Fingers crossed!

DJ Premier, Grandmaster Flash, Jazzy Jeff! Tyler, the Creator would be great too.

Decided to finally take the plunge into her albums this morning with the announcement, and at only 4 tracks into her first record Dont Smile At Me - it's bloody good pop! Pleased for her.
