  1. Meh so what? Maybe he has. Doesn’t mean he’s done anything wrong here for things here to work requires all of us to make it work.
  2. And the thing he’s done to not help with the good running of the forums is not tell you that somto was Gucci piggy, even tho clearly many others knew and you said yourself you thought it was him.
  3. This is a truly awful excuse for your huge go at Matt. I get that you have a problem with trolls and if you need to ban people then fair enough but this go at Matt is totally unjustified and you know it.
  4. Nobody’s asking you to do that. The only thing you said Matt did wrong was ‘hide’ Gucci piggy. You’ve had a massive go at him for no reason it was OTT
  5. Yeah he’s clearly a troll, I mean am I the only one that thinks @Back of the Pymild is also him? Defo his pal at least. But @Matt42 did nothing wrong at all and deserves an apology
  6. He didn’t do anything, apart from knowing that somto was previously Gucci piggy, which he can’t have been the only person to know. I had no idea and just guessed it based on the way they posted
  7. Someone getting a bit nervy here 👀
  8. Yep, Matt has done nothing wrong, it’s pretty unfair on him
  9. What exactly are you claiming matt’s intention is here beyond just being on the forum to talk festivals. He might be contentious sometimes but he’s no troll
  10. Thought so. Perplexing that someone would get banned a couple years ago and then make a comeback only to try get banned again despite clearly enjoying spending time on the forum.
  11. Banned I think for some nonsensical threads and general trolling. I could be wrong but I always got the impression he’d been banned before - maybe as Gucci piggy? Could be wrong but they seemed similar

    Lorde

Mood ring is pretty good too Imo. Dog shit album tho overall
  13. Pretty reasonable I would have thought. Playing Edinburgh and Newcastle in June and then no other dates till trnsmt in July. So they’re defo about and could easily slot in somewhere.
  14. In contrast, my first year was 2013 and the weather was the best I’ve ever seen in Scotland. What a weekend. Yeah I think there would have been a slow ish decline but still it could have done alright some years if the lineup was good. Obv hard to compare but trnsmt sells well cause they have worked out what will sell. It’s hard to compare tho, cause obv going to Glasgow green is like 10 times easier than a camping festival in Perth. Trnsmt is here to stay by looks of things anyway and it suits me better now anyway.
  15. Yeah probs. Strathallan was awful will never understand how that 2011 lineup could be so good and stacked then so much worse one year later
  16. Likewise T in the park used to sell out rapid in the mid to late 2000s. Then it died in 2016 and is no more. Glastonbury is obv a different beast tho but it’s mad how quick things can change
  17. It's a good thing for the festival that those 'replacements' happened. Also, absolutely no one is hankering to get a resale ticket on the back of The Editors playing either. If there was less demand like you claim then surely the obvious explanation is that covid delays mean there was likely more tix in the pot and also people will have made other plans and can go abroad etc now. Only the hardcore are waiting till 3 months before the festival to see if they're going. Forums are full of old men generally, your average glasto go-er isn't in here and many of the names you mentioned will get big crowds. Olivia Rodrigo in particular.
  18. It won’t be. Little simz popularity is overstated on here for sure. Critically acclaimed yes but not going to draw a crowd bigger than Paolo
  19. Paolo is a weird one to be honest, being Scottish it skews my perception of him cause he’s gigantic up here. Headlining trmtmt and it’s the best selling day even over Lewis capaldi. But then I see down south he seems to headline more mid tier events but still of a fair size. The weird one is him doing Knebworth below kasabian, doesn’t make sense to me at all cause that is a low slot.
  20. Really isn’t barmy at all. You’ve even got Neil saying he thinks he’s playing along with paper talk too. Seems fairly likely and maybe she does know something it’s hardly outrageous to suggest it
  21. Yeah and anything macca has done which anyone cares about happened before they were born. nutini would get a decent crowd regardless where he plays. By young I meant like <35 years old who are less likely to care about macca.
  22. McCartney will obv get a huge crowd but think there’s plenty people to go round and Nutini would be fine. Lot of youngsters at glasto some of which won’t be fussed my maca. If I had a ticket I’d be at nutini every day of the week, I couldn’t care less about macca even if he is a beatle.

    Foals

So catchy, love it! They can do no wrong atm for me. Really upbeat sounding album sounds good to me after the part one and two ones. Can’t wait.
  24. It’s neither stupid nor particularly unlikely. A big British artist showing up at glasto is actually pretty normal
