Salford might be a wee bit cheaper and is an easy tram ride to the centre. We stayed in an Ibis budget there once, isn't glam but does the job

Honestly it wasn't hard. I got the page you don't want for 20 mins then it let me in no problem and i could have got any date i wanted even then. There is a gigantic amount of tickets here, like half a million all over the country. Everyone that wants one will get one.

The economy is so fucked. Surely house prices drop...surely. A lot of people's mortgage payments jumping so they'll spend less in shops and pubs etc. Only people who will be fine are oldies with paid off mortgages.
