    2024 Headliners

Imagine having the biggest band in the world wanting to play your fest for free and being like 'nah it's ok, you headlined 8 years ago sorry!'

this is always overlooked. R&L have people back all the time. The 1975 and Post Malone spring to mind as people who have played years in a row. T in the Park used to have a lot of Kasabian repeats when I used to go - 2010, 2012 and 2015 and then trnsmt in 2017. Liam Gallgher/ Courteeners play trnsmt every other year too. Glasto has very little repeated at the top end. Coldplay are basically the only ones. They'd be daft to turn them down.
  3. That the week over already? I'll wrap up work then...
  4. Fair enough, good luck in your new home
  5. Why would you sell your house to rent?
  6. If you say so! Either way whatever house you buy next will have also shot up in value in the last 12 years too. It’d not the massive win you think it is even if those numbers are accurate (which I doubt)
  7. Dennistoun in glasgow once featured high in one of these lists which shows to me it is a total nonsense.
  8. You bought a house in Bristol in 2012 for 125k?
  9. Highly doubt this is true. Tripled since 2012? No chance!

Because Glastonbury is the best festival in the world, people often play it for way less than they would play other gigs 🙂
  11. The moderation has been a million times better since you got your marching orders. The place has been way more pleasant despite your continued attempts to change that.
  12. It’s a U.K. politics thread lol, you would truly argue black is white just to be difficult wouldnt you Neil
  13. Nobody cares. Also this is a politics thread.
  14. Have you just replied to my same post 3x within 12 hours 😂😂😂
  15. So if it was in Bristol you’d have said ‘nowhere does scumbags like Bristol’ doubt it
  16. What do you hope to gain with this needlessly insulting nonsense?
  17. Probably lol that’s the internet for you. I don’t even like Matt Healy haha
  18. you can't be serious? this is just ludicrously downplaying it at this point. I don't care if his parents are rich. There are so many bands which I'm sure have rich parents. I simply do not care. He's hardly aristocracy. His Dad is in Benidorm ffs, he's hardly Di Caprio probably and would Emily's Dad not being the creator of Glasto give her some self-belief and confidence she can do the same thing? Blows my mind you can use that argument against one and not the other.
  19. Yeah I know. And thank f**k she did take over. She's really good at it.
  20. I tried to argue that it might have given him a leg up early on but has little consequence now and they largely got to where they are on merit Your words, not mine but I mean to an extent... yes she has. She literally only had the opportunity cause of her Dad. You can't tell me the only possible way Healy has become a successful musician is his parents being famous. I can 100% say that Emily wouldn't be doing that job if her dad wasn't ME. She happens to be great at it.
  21. and that applies to both c**ts like Healy and nice people like Emily
  22. So why do you disagree with me so much when I said yes Matt Healy had a leg up starting out but obviously so did Emily? Big difference between your Dad being Bono and being an actor on Benidorm tho isnt there I've never said anything about her talent or how nice she is. She seems lovely and talented.
  23. Ok great she is really good at it. I'm sure she would have had equal chance to prove herself if she worked at tesco and wasn't the daughter of the festival creator. Fs why do i have to keep spelling it out. She is great at it, i am not saying otherwise. and what? who cares honestly. Do you listen to bands and even give stuff like that a second thought? His parents are rich, he's a c**t im not denying that yep, i've never said otherwise. Maybe a few doors opened early on, after that irrelevant
  24. What am I misrepresenting? What is wrong here: 1)His parents are well off and famous to some extent, might have opened some doors for him starting out but since then any impact is minimal 2)Emily inherited her job. She happens to be really good at it but she never got it in the first place due to her own work. Pinpoint exactly what you disagree with here?
