  1. I listened to the interview and I didn't hear he said tomorrow, just hear it was coming this week. He also confirms that this year was really hard to make the line-up because of the huge number of festivals in Europe. Honestly I don't expect any surprises, we surely gonna have only bands already announced somewhere else as so many festivals have already announced first names. Just hope enough great bands on Saturday next to BMTH and A7X. Not gonna list 80 bands but I count on these acts in the announcement: Alice Cooper, Deftones, Electric Callboy, Dropkick Murphys, Megadeth, Bad Omens, Dimmu Borgir, Kreator, Body Count, BabyMetal, Bruce Dickinson, Biohazard, Rhapsody Of Fire, Hatebreed, While She Sleeps, Polyphia, Satyricon, Mudvayne, Bury Tomorrow, Kvelertak, Thy Art Is Murder, Fu Manchu, Malevolence, The Black Dahlia Murder, Brujeria, Silverstein, Atreyu, Counterparts, Fear Factory, Madball, Knosis, Erra, Shadow Of Intent, Bleed From Within, Oxymorrons, Nova Twins...
  2. Seems clear Sam Smith will headline the festival next Summer. He's around and fits perfectly for the crowd. Even if I don't like this guy at all... The Chainsmokers are around, I'd love to see them as closing act on Main Stage (like they did with Charlotte De Witte).
  3. Nothing But Thieves only open for Green Day on the UK shows so don't see this announcement as a clue for Green Day. I honestly still think the band won't add any more dates on their Summer Tour (sadly for Belgium or other countries).
  4. Damn... Scorpions again and MH again... So we're only missing 1 headliner for the 2nd Main Stage on Thursday. hopefully we gonna have more names before tickets sales on Saturday.
  5. It's the good year for them. In 2022, they replace kinda last-minute Aerosmith as headliner for the last day. In 2023, last May, they played a huge festival in the biggest arena of the country. I'd prefer to see Sabaton in 2024 instead of Scorpions (also played in 2022, replacement for Avenged Sevenfold)! Thursday SS: Tool - Jane's Addiction. NS: Sum 41 - Dropkick Murphys. Friday SS: Five Finger Death Punch - Corey Taylor. NS: Judas Priest - Megadeth. Saturday: SS: Bring Me The Horizon - Electric Callboy. NS: Avenged Sevenfold - Limp Bizkit (?). Sunday: SS: Sabaton - Pantera. NS: Deep Purple - Alice Cooper.
  6. Scorpions is always available... even if they did a farewell tour 10 year ago. Almost every year we could sadly have them. The only shows in EU they have announced so far are a festival the first weekend of July in Germany and the Wacken end of July. It doesn't make them sure for Graspop. About Machine Head, it would sound cheap to bring them as headliner again after bringing them as exclusive show this year so they are out. Parkway Drive and Pantera are both potential as they are in the area. I honestly prefer to see other bands than the same 2 years in a row. Even if I love Parkway Drive and their show was insane this year (as always)!
  7. They're playing at Festival Beauregard in West France. Check the official website: https://www.festivalbeauregard.com/
  8. It happens sometimes that bands play 2 years in a row. But don't count on Enter Shikari. It was already a (good) surprise to finally see them play in 2023, I don't think they'll be back in 2024. So far, only Rock Am Ring announced them because they release their full line-up. But with their headline tour early next year, you won't see them being announced to other festivals soon. Maybe they'll play early in a Marquee at Rock Werchter...
  9. BMTH is the main headliner while Avenged will headline the second Main Stage. Nothing weird about that. BMTH hype is huge and they deserve this spot. I hope we gonna have a fresh/great line-up around them not make it a great day - like the Saturday this year! Electric Callboy would be the perfect sub. SS: Bring Me The Horizon - Electric Callboy - Bad Omens. NS: Avenged Sevenfold - Sum 41 - Baby Metal.
  10. I confirms we gonna have a strong co-headliners that day. Could be Queens Of The Stone Age?
  11. Didn't expect them to headline Werchter... On their last arena tour, they played twice in Brussels selling very quickly 16k tickets and it was almost Mission Impossible to get tickets on TicketSwap. They could have sold bigger arenas in Belgium. But to imagine them headling RW... I guess we gonna have a real co-headline that day like Imagine Dragons + Twenty One Pilots in 2022. 08.11 Foo Fighters for Sunday 13.11 Dua Lipa for Saturday 15.11 Maneskin for Friday ??.11 ?? for Thursday Hopefully we gonna have the Thursday headliner (or Friday co-headliner) soon enough.
  12. Based on their music style, QOTSA could play a festival like Graspop. But I really doubt it could happen. So many bands could have played at Graspop the last few years: rock bands, bands with a strong rock/metal relation like Tenacious D. The only update Graspop made recently is to have more punk-rock bands especially in the higher spots like Rise Against sub-headliner in 2018, Rancid last year, Dropkick Murphys, etc. In all the festivals I know, Graspop is the most old-school festival I know. And it needs really big day to have me back (like Saturday this year). So to answer your question about QOTSA, I'd say they have 1% chance to be there, 50% for Pukkelpop and 49% for Rock Werchter.
  13. The 2019 edition was a weaker edition compared to the recent ones. They also had Vampire Weekend headlining... 100% sure we gonna have another headliner than The Smashing Pumpkings in 2024 🙂 Hope we gonna have another name tomorrow!
  14. Don't think so. The festival announced Dua Lipa as first big confirmation (aka main headliner) but didn't say that about The Smashing Pumpkings so they gonna be sub or even the spot below on the Main Stage. Can't see them headline such a big festival nowadays anyway...
  15. It's official now. Tickets go on sale on November 25th so we gonna have names before. I guess at least Avenged Sevenfold as second headliner and a bunch of other names.
  16. Better late than never, Graspop is alive. They update their socials and put a first teasing. I read on other topics (didn't find an official info about that online) that Tool gonna announce their tour tomorrow. Primavera also update their socials today. Could tomorrow be the day?
  17. With Dua Lipa doing officially festivals next Summer, can we expect her here too?!
  18. Amazing news to start the week! Didn't expect her to be announced now. First show announced for her in 2024. Hope we'll have other dates soon. With StuBru broadcasting the QOTSA show yesterday in Antwerp, I was expecting them to be announced before any other acts. Anyway, Foo's + Dua Lipa is a perfect start for me 🙂
  19. Same for Hasley who came for an EU exclu this Summer... or almost? Don't remember seeing her getting shows somewhere else (sadly).
  20. Even for the biggest festivals worldwide, this is too big! Even for Rock Werchter.
  21. I don't get it... The "small" place is bigger than the "usual"? I thought the usual was 70k and the small one around 30k. I went to the RHCP day this Summer and I hear we were 70k... or am I wrong?! Anyway, I prefer if it's around 30k!
  22. Start to look interesting: Avril + Sum + Simple Plan... it's in the "small" place I guess?
  23. I'm wondering where the actual headliners were on the list... I guess Avenged Sevenfold were high in the list: it sounded so natural to have them here (and all festivals). But Fall Out Boy and QOTSA... At least one of them were late in the preferences...
  24. We can rule out 30 Seconds To Mars. They gonna play in Brussels end April 2024
  25. MS1 : Tool - Sabaton - Avenged Sevenfold - Queens Of The Stone Age. MS2 : Five Finger Death Punch - Sum 41 - Judas Priest - Bring Me The Horizon. The festival could look great and a bit fresher if they wanted too...
