    Resale team

I'm curious about how the larger groups work. I've now tried for tickets twice. First time was in 19. Organized a small team (4 of the 6 in our buying group). Each of us fairly tech savvy, using 2-3 devices and was successful landing coach tickets. Got in in the first 3 mins with no issues on the purchase....basically, heavy dose of luck. Skipped last year and tried the same approach this year with all of us stuck on the holding page for both the coach and GA sales. No one got close to the actual booking pages. I would be willing to work in a larger group, including helping others in the group get their tickets, but also wonder how you handle the financials. Assuming that a purchase is required (and I do understand that last year's resale process did not require this), is everyone in the group sharing cred/debit card info?

    Much Thanks!

Surprise - Food quality was better than expected and much better than what we typically see at a US festival. On the downside.....Most of the US festivals have better beer with many having craft brewer areas where multiple craft brewers are featured....although you don't see Cider Buses at US festivals!

    Much Thanks!

Festival was fantastic. Pretty much what I expected but at an even larger scale than I imagined. So much good music, entertainment and food. Met some great people and generally had an epic vacation. Loved doing it with my two kids, created memories that will last a long time. Only down side.....some of the crowd flow. The festival definitely needs to work on crowd control. The crowds at Wet Leg and the next day at Calvin Hill were nuts. Luckily, people were pretty good/calm about it, so I can't say that it spoiled anything, just think some changes to layout and better scheduling would reduce the risk of problems. Net/net - will definitely be back some time in the future.

    Much Thanks!

Being a long time concert goer here in the states, I'd always had Glastonbury as a bucket list festival. Back in 2019, I finally decided to pull the trigger and try and get tickets to the 50th anniversary year. Low and behold, I was able to grab some coach tickets for me, a friend, and 2 of my kids for the 2020 festival only to be derailed 2 years n a row by Covid. 2022 finally came and we got to attend a truly spectacular event. We had many great moments in 2022 and the memories will live on with us for quite a long time. Of special note was the many great conversations and/or experiences that we had with other Glastonbury festival goers. Through all of that experience, I received tons of guidance and tips from the wonderful people on this board and I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone here....you guys have a great on-line community! I hope that I will get back to the festival one day.....until then...Thanks!
  5. Much love for the festival. I am a LONG time concert/festival goer over here in the States and this was a big bucket list event for me. It lived up to all of my expectations. The scale is just massive on every level. Best thing for me was the diversity and overall quality of the acts. I never had problems finding good music. All of the crazy non-music entertainment added to the fun and the food was top notch for festival food. We found multiple food stalls that we went back to because the food was so good. Also, the people were a blast. Shared a few beers and had many great conversations. On the other side, the crowds were massive. For the most part, they were well behaved and not an issue....and crowds are certainly part of the festival experience.....but some of the locations/times (Wet Leg, Calvin Harris) bordered on being dangerous. I can't imagine what it would have been like if there had been a lot of rain/mud. I don't have the history with the festival to know if that level of crowding was standard but I hope the festival works on making flow/traffic improvements. Net/net - a great experience....will definitely be back at some point.
  6. Thanks guys, will probably shoot for 30 mins as I don't know the area
  7. How early should I plan to arrive at the O2 if I have a 7:00 AM Coach on Weds? Is it a mad house where we need to get there an hour+ early to figure out where our assigned bus is or is it relatively organized with a smaller number of Buses.....where I can show up 15 mins early np.
  8. Paid 4/5 for my group (one dropped out). Quick address question....for coach packages (which we have), does the address matter? I didn't see an option to change addresses during the payment process.
  9. I would try the other route....via your Glasto registration lookup.....if that doesn't work contact SeeTicket customer support (with your booking reference number) and ask them how to access your order.
  10. Here is the exact text from my original order confirmation for checking status, "You can check your order status here: https://www.seetickets.com/customerservice. If your transaction hasn't been processed within 72 hours, contact See Tickets immediately. Any transaction that results in a charge back or payment dispute will be cancelled. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account to pay for the tickets" Using that link takes you to a page that asks for the booking reference number (also in your original confirmation email) and one of.....Postcode, phone number or last 4 digits of payment card. I haven't tried that method for a while because I've now linked my order to my SeeTicket account.
  11. I think I did this kind of backwards. I created a SeeTicket account right before I made the Glasto deposit....thinking I needed it to make the original booking/deposit. After I made the deposit (through the normal process) and got the order info, I went into my SeeTicket account and couldn't see the Glasto Order. Somehow (can't remember if it was through the website or customer service) I was then able to change the Glasto Order to link it with my SeeTicket account. Now I can just log into my SeeTicket account directly and it shows my Glasto order with all of the individual ticket deposits (note - I'm the lead booker for my group).
  12. Next year will be our first year and we were lucky enough to get coach package tickets. When we originally booked the tickets, we had to get back early and we selected a 4:00AM return time Monday morning. We don't have the same time crunch issue next year, so we are deciding if we want to stay up Sunday night and keep the 4:00AM departure or look at finding different transportation back to London later Monday. Does anyone know how strict they are on the booked coach time slots? If we skipped the 4:00AM bus and just showed up later the next morning would we be able to get on a bus or would be stuck trying to find a way back with every other mode of transportation pre-booked and/or filled?
  13. So, I wanted to bring in a DSLR to Glastonbury. Nothing huge but a nice camera with a 2-5 inch lens. I'm trying to figure out what Glastonbury allows as far as cameras go and I can't seem to get a detailed answer. Here's text on the published policy: "No unauthorized tape recorders, professional film or video equipment are allowed onsite. Cameras for personal use are welcome." That leaves a LOT of room for subjective interpretation and I don't want to get stuck at a gate with security telling me I can't take a camera in, so I sent a question into Glastonbury to get some clarification. Here's what I asked, "Can you provide additional details on how you distinguish between professional equipment and personal use cameras? e.g. Can we bring in a detachable lens camera? Is there a restriction on the length/range of the lens?" Here's what Glastonbury replied to my question: "as long as the pictures are for personal use the camera shouldn’t be a problem. So a nice camera is fine, however, big professional zoom lenses are the issue. There are currently no restrictions on lens size, but it is something we are going to discuss and certainly we do discourage people from bringing long lenses as there is a risk they might be held at the gate." Again, subjective.....at least as far as the lens goes I've asked a follow up question, but what are peoples experience here. Has anyone tried to bring in an DSLR with a detachable lens? What happened at the security check?
