Incredible isn’t it. There was a big hit trying to shut down touting secondary markets. What do they do once they’ve nearly succeeded? …create their own touting secondary market with a different name. Disgusting.

This and Mirror make the whole album click for me. I can’t imagine any other hip-hop artist making a song like that. Sensational.

He’s surely got to make the album the centre-piece of the set, make it proper theatrical. If he just grabs a few of these into a normal festival set, we’re in damp squid territory. As a fan, I’m glad this is going to take a few listens to sink in.

I mean they’ve got quite a big catalogue now! Obvs don’t touch the last half an hour, but surely even they’d want to mix it up a bit from show to show.

They’ve played the same setlist every gig. Going to need to see some evidence of changing it up before Glasto, otherwise I’ll be elsewhere. Fine with seeing a band twice, but not exactly the same show.

Fucking hell. And that’s just a loose one before the album.

I like it. But a big problem for a first listen is End of The Empire kills all momentum dead. 9 mins of plod in the wrong place. Think that’ll grow on repeated listens mind you.

It might feel good at the surface level, but removing artists like this (see: Wimbledon also) doesn’t help Ukraine in the slightest - not even indirectly. It affects the war by zilch. Thousands of other things we can do to help Ukraine.

Foals were on form last night in Birmingham. The last 30 mins really is carnage. Imo some of the new songs sound a bit too polished - especially with the lyrics in the visuals. They need to loosen them up a bit. -
