  1. I think that's a brilliant line up! absolute cracker!
  2. It’s a great line up and I bet it rules out The Big Moon too ☹️
  3. Bombay out for lost village think I’m quite late on that one
  4. I’m just gonna leak it we Co-headline from watch the throne 👌
  5. Listening to Kanye earlier and thought he’s gotta come so yeah Plus Liam is really cheap for FR right now so maybe there saving for someone big like big big like Kanye! Gorillaz Liam Gallagher Kanye West worth the shout! And that’s why they’ve taken so long releasing the lineup cause Kanye keeps pulling out then he’s like ye man sure 👍 Bet the money is outrageous at the moment as 3 full headliners and one being Liam they’ve got a lot of money to spend like tons
  6. Forgot how big Cage The Elephant are and there new single with Iggy Pop is pretty nice I can see them definitely 4th/3rd down main stage. Anyone else think much?
  7. Forgot to say Gang Of Youths what a band!!
  8. Courteeners // The Wombats // The Big Moon
  9. Bombay Bicycle Club Vampire Weekend Kaleo The Big Moon Skepta A$AP Rocky Glass animals Cage The Elephant Metronomy Blur
  10. Wouldn’t lie I would love to see Vampire Weekend, The Big Moon, King Krule, Goat Girl, Cage the elephant and Kaleo at Reading this year plus maybe the rap head has been moved to Friday this year due to he/she being smaller than previous rap headliners such as Kendrick, Eminem and post would expect someone like A$ap or Travis in this slot perhaps they would co-head with the likes of Biffy Clyro could see that being a nice Friday headline Biffy Clyro / Travis Scott Liam Gallagher Blur (dunno why I’m saying this again have absolutely no clue) personally would love to see an upcoming indie band such as Bombay or VW take a headline slot but maybe there to small
  11. Thoughts on Kaleo being there this year released 2 new songs this week and have an album coming out later this year? I feel they fit the festival vibe plus there pretty huge I can imagine them slotting in mid R1 stage or even mid main?
  12. I'm pretty sure this year we will see the likes of Vampire Weekend and they'll be the main roll over from Glastonbury last year as there set ws pretty incredible plus Melvin benn loves his guitar skills as some of you might remember in 2018 he only booked Kings of leon cause he thought there guitar skills were awesome even though they were pretty trash live. So Vampire Weekend will probably be subbing on the sunday. Plus I believe Two Door Cinema Club will be headlining the radio 1 stage one of the days as there following has slightly dropped since there latest album and they would fit that slot very well.
  13. Sadly though tyler is pretty ruled out as he's playing parklife, love box and longitude in Ireland in early summer which means he's not gonna come back basically
  14. No actually it's still on the cards I think everything's on the cards at this rate I think Dick & Dom are likely to headline. But yeah AM are in the running but so are Biffy Clyro, BMTH, Travis Scott, A$ap Rocky, Tyler the creator, the streets, Florence and the machine, Vampire Weekend, Two door cinema club, Rex Orange county actually everyone is.
  15. I've got to admit the new The Big Moon album is brilliant I hope they play at reading this summer they would be a brilliant band to book i'm saying headline FR or mid to top Radio 1 stage, but headlining FR would be the perfect slot for them.
  16. Last one before line up hopefully? Friday MS - My Chemical Romance // The Black Keys // Idles R1 - Sam Fender // Denzel Curry R1D - Hannah Wants // Pit - Fever 333 // FR - Metronomy // 1xtra - Kojey Radical Saturday MS - Liam Gallagher // Skepta // The Streets R1 - Brockhampton // Honne R1D - Holy Goof // Pit - Sleeping with Sirens // FR - Gang of Youths // 1xtra - Aitch Sunday MS- Arcade Fire // Vampire Weekend // Cage The Elephant R1 - Bicep Live // Lizzo R1D - Tones and I // LU - $uicide Boy$ // FR - Vistas // xtra - Kofi Stone
  17. Disclosure for Radio 1 headliner big drop from co-headliner in 2016 but they would be like Bastille from 2017 sub to headline radio 1 bit of a bigger drop but could see them countering a major sunday slot.
  18. I would love to see Arcade Fire at APE it will be great to see them in the UK.
  19. Actually heard there back on the festival route at Kanaval Ball in Feburary in new orleans and they haven't been to the UK In a while and they haven't been reading since 2010. Such a great band too proper indie classics that hasn't been killed off and over played however they would need a strong sub to go with them however if they bring the same energy they had in 2010 it would be insane. Plus this year marks 15 years since The Funeral was released meaning a sort of celebratory tour could come.
  20. Yeah love to see Kaytranada, Loyle Caner, SchoolBoy Q and The Streets but hoping SlowThai is coming back most of all couldn't see AJ Tracey coming back can't see him moving up the line up much more unless he realeases something big. But DaBaby could be possible could see him having a nice slot mid R1.
  21. So Hip Hop/Rap for Reading 2020 is honestly not looking promising with Brockhampton over in early summer and Stormzy doing two O2 shows straight after. Nothing seems promising, I've made a list of possible major Hip Hop/Rap acts that may turn up out of 10: 8/10 - Stormzy = Although doing Two major shows at the O2 after the festival which might draw away some of his fans he has just released a banging new album plus will go down a hit at the festival. Also it is a common occurrence that reading to have a headline act that Glastonbury in the year previous. Plus announcing Reading in his lyrics might be a massive clue. 6/10 - Travis Scott = Another major rapper who has had an awesome history at the festival subbing Fall out Boy in 2018. However could come back and has been heavily rumoured. 7/10 - A$AP Rocky = After having a fairly shitty 2019 A$AP rocky is another one to consider for the festival as either a co-head or a sub. He was third down in 2016 at the festival and hasn't been back since his new album plus as he cancelled so many shows last year in the UK due to the shit there is quite a big audience who will want to see him so would be a very good booking for Reading. Plus from looking at his shows next year he is yet to announce a UK date for next summer. 4/10 - Kanye West = Got an album rumoured to coming out soon. but probably wouldn't bother with festivals let alone even coming over UK. 7/10 - Tyler The Creator = After not being allowed to come to reading back in 2015, Tyler has a major following in the UK after Flower Boy and Igor which are two amazing albums. However he is headlining Lovebox and Parklife which will limit the amount of tickets Reading will sell if he is announced as a Co-head or sub. 8/10 - Skepta = After he cancelled 2018 reading are yet to re-book plus he is always around every summer and yet to be announced for any other festivals. Possibly a huge R1 headliner or sub. 7/10 - Octavian = After an awesome 2019 the rapper has had major followings and had an absolute stormer headlining R1xtra I hope to see him mid to top R1 stage next year. He is also part of a group called ESSIE GANG which also might make an appearance. 6/10 - Ski Mask The Slump God = Got to admit one of my favourite artists in the last few years. releasing STOKELEY has pushed him up the line-up majorly from mid R1xtra stage in 2018 (even though he cancelled) to Mid to top radio 1 stage would love to see him plus he will sell tickets as he's got a huge following. 9/10 - Slowthai = What a man! after recently supporting Brockhampton in the USA, Slowthai is now a major artist to book and would be an awesome act to have on the bill. Personally I would say he is hit to play forth down main stage or high up Radio 1 stage. 7/10 - Denzel Curry = He just gotta come. latest album probably slots him mid-top Radio 1 headline. To be honest chaps I've got no clue what hip hop/rap acts we will have however judging from the last 3 years hoping for some of these names to pop up.
  22. He can't be headlining outright it's just not right. Two albums the second not even being that great plus aloud of classic Oasis songs which are great but come on, like we had Foo Fighters and Post Malone at this time last year what is going on? where's the money going? Kanye West ohhhhhhhhhhhhh yes
  23. I feel like FR really think LG will sell loads of tickets the fact there releasing day tickets already for the Saturday is pretty stupid however him being on Saturday surely means that he will be a co-headliner as the past two years Saturday has been the co-head day really hoping for LG and Travis Scott both headlining that day would be lovely. Slipknot // Tame Impala + Travis Scott / Liam Gallagher //The Streets + Red Hot Chilli Peppers // Bring me the Horizon = Big
  24. I love it how none of us have a clue at all its pretty brilliant could be anyone? So I'm hoping for something like this: The Strokes // Tyler The Creator // Gerry Cinnamon Skepta Travis Scott / Bring Me The Horizon // The Streets // Sam Fender Cigarettes After Sex Arctic Monkeys // Vampire Weekend // Wolf Alice (no clue) But what we'll probably get is Mumford and sons Stormzy Muse sad times
