  1. Let us know the lineup! I know Moxie and Saoirse are doing a B2B set 8.30-10
  2. Yeah god I’m excited for printworks. Still wish I was going to today rather than tomorrow, but just can’t wait to be inside a proper venue again. although I will say Printworks was the last venue I was in back in Feb 2020, so I hope I don’t start the pandemic all over again…
  3. Aye but sadly my girlfriend doesn’t have a ticket (couldn’t commit to it way back in 2019, can now)! so May have to try TRNSMT unless there’s other Scottish dates annoyingly.
  4. Would love to see Paolo, Fontaines, Wolf Alice and Slowthai but TRNSMT looks rough as a badgers arse with an average age of 18.
  5. Looking to sell 4 tickets for Saturday Printworks (face value £30) - trying to switch to the Friday, if anyone is keen.
  6. Why you confident about Eclair? I think Moxie is free on Friday, but generally unsure about bigger names. Honey Dijon is about and free. on the Saturday I’m fairly confident about Eats Everything and Richy Ahmed. Think Patrick Topping is likely too. Given Carl Cox is playing/curating at Drumsheds same time, wonder if he might slot in?
  7. Anyone going to the Printworks shows this weekend? worried I’ve ducked it by booking Saturday over Friday, as I think Saturday will be heavier and less suited to the pals I’m going with, which is annoying.
  8. Yeah the visuals are pretty great for sure. I thought they were pencilled in for Park headliners in 2020, don’t see any reason they wouldn’t just do that slot again.
  9. No? It’s fine to speculate the impact such accusations would have on festival credentials, it’s another to speculate about the validity of the accusations.
  10. Really happy from Arlo, she’s brilliant, although I think Wolf Alice probably should have won. Also a lovely reception for Annie, what a legend.
  11. Going for the first time next year, pretty excited after seeing videos and the lineup from this year. hoping the lineup is as good next year - quite like the idea of the odd non-electronic act in Bombay Bicycle Club and Arlo Parks - wonder if they’ll do that next year as well.
  12. It was shit to be honest, couldn’t hear Tom Misch on the Saturday over people talking which I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced before.
  13. Ah floorplan we’re great, just thought the base was a little over powering compared to some of the gospel vocals.
  14. It was particularly noticeable at lighter acts like Tom Misch, we’re you could hear the crowd mroe than the set, and vocal heavy dance sets like Floorplan and Adelphi Music Factory, when you couldn’t really hear the vocals over the base.
  15. Lost Village looked incredible. Was only able to get offered tickets after I’d already spent (and convinced others to) on Field day and APE, but god what a regret. Looked incredible, definitely going next year.
  16. I got scooped by security twice, never before in my life. Know two others that did two and I’ve never known it to happen to anyone. end result just getting stuff taken off, not kicked off, but still an absolute vibe ruined.
  17. Couldn’t agree more. Left before the end even though I knew thsoe big XX tracks were coming.
  18. On a brighter note, Field Day was much better (terrible queues but conversely strict drug enforcement aside). Floorplan was a highlight and the Bicep headline set was brilliant. Would say the sound wasn’t great on any of the stages, and I’m probably going to mostly avoid outdoor dance festivals, at least where the infrastructure isn’t tailored specifically for it.
  19. Just need somewhere to rant a tad. That APE Jamie XX show was pretty dreadful. He was the only act on in that slot so it was the only option. Think crowd expected a dance party, and first few tracks were that, but it really went off the rails. Felt a little experimental for that kind of setting, and much more garage/jungle kind of stuff than the crowd were in for. by 30 mins there were people streaming out, and by 60+ when he finally started playing a few big dance-y bangers, the atmosphere was so dead. finishing with a few big the XX tunes couldn’t really save it, bit of a bitter pill at end of a good day.
  20. I know this is a big 3 but bloody hell I hate it. Didn’t make it to a pyramid headliner 2019 so gonna have to go for Macca I guess, tho that will take some convincing in my group depending on who is on elsewhere.
  21. I don’t really see the problem in the guy trying to get his end. Yeah the framing is a little distasteful, but if they really weren’t compensated, and it’s one of the most famous album covers of all time, I think he’s entitled to try and seek out fair compensation.

    Kendrick Lamar

Why? I’m not sure I get it, assumed it was something to do with Oklahoma but can’t think of the connection…

New album announcement and statement http://www.oklama.com pretty big he’s leaving TDE. As to the rest of the announcement, I haven’t a clue.
  25. Probably a bit of a long shot given the context but anyone heard any rumours about what the Printworks Redacted lineups are?
