  1. Lol people are allowed to say they think a lineup sucks without you making snide comments.
  2. First Wednesday headliner? How many Wednesdays does this festival have??
  3. Aye think those prices confirm it’s not for me. It’s only shower I really care about - are the only options WV, Stinklinch, Lost Horrizons, Green Peace and Kidsfield? There’s no like 100 quid post toilets shower option I can stump up for?
  4. They don’t own a private jet that they love to use though!
  5. Calvin Harris and Diplo are EDM rubbish. Camelphat are plague DJs and along with Hot Since 82 played in Saudi Arabia last year (disappointingly so are FKJ and Michael Kiwanuka this year).
  6. Doubling up on my posts here and the other place but: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jO5JhZNSjUA&feature=youtu.be Just got round to listening to this. Absolutely banging straight in my top few boiler room sets. Was momentarily gutted I missed her at glasto but she was really clash heavy. Hope she gets a good day time or super late night slot next year
  7. I'd love Tash Sultana for a day time Park or West Holts set in the sun.
  8. Enjoying this more than I thought. skipping through obvs and only at day 2 but pretty good. His day 1 pretty similar to mine in terms of route which is pretty funny. Really transported me back ty for sharing. hes a lunatic for trying to get a new wrist band, I would absolutely not try to do that.
  9. Haha why they seem alright, lil but cringe and I do think making something like that is a little narcissistic maybe but they seem nice enough.
  10. Where were the queues? I ate really well and often this year and don’t think I queued for longer than 3 minutes.
  11. One of my favourite places on site but there’s no need for it to be so removed from silver Hayes other than maybe sound bleed to other big silver Hayes stages (sonic and lonely hearts). it’s just a pain in the arse where it is, and causes problems post pyramid churn.
  12. Yeah agreed. Think it’ll be a busy Park field for sure, but incomparable to Wet Leg middle of the day with fuck all else on. tho Park my favourite main stage anyway because of the natural amphitheater feeling, so if he’s elsewhere and someone I’m more keen on is headlining Park then happy days.
  13. Agree with all this. Been listening to the BUFO B2B Joy O set in XOYO today, an all timer. and yeah I’m obsessed with Mark Blair, all his productions absolutely go off. The recently Love Parade edit is 10/10. Whenever someone references “good tech-house” he’s exactly who comes to mind. Stick on his Boiler Room a lot, some of the mixing is a bit hammy in the first half, but it is heaters all the way through. It’s almost a shame Skin on Skin’s set kinda blew him away hype-wise right after, but two complete legends and both must haves on the farm. 14. Do think this is a complete disgrace tbh, absolute poison to the scene. Makes me think he’s a prick forever more.
  15. White Hotel, Sneaky Pete’s and Fold are staring disapprovingly

    2023 Stage Predictions

He’s a funny one, just plays everywhere. packed out the O2 in London twice, sold out AO arena in Manchester, but has also recently played that Sydney boat thing, a LIV Golf event and the Capital FM Jingle Ball. Figure he’s not expensive.
  17. Still have Fred Again as Park headliner, but yeah others saying WH headliner. I don think he does a lot of DJ sets really? Cant say I've seen a load of them on socials and I follow way too many promoters. Folamour if he's on the festival circuit, he's nailed on. I hope on a different stage this time, biggest disappointment of the festival checking twitter when about 30 heads I knew had all arranged tobe there for him and were standing in the hoards at the back of ShangriLa Solomun weird booking imo, could see him back to fulfil it but zero interest. Palm and Jobse - their B2Bs are not to be missed IMO, would almost prioritise over a live act, so good. Jamie XX yeah could defnitely see Arcadia, wont be there! Two Shell and Piri & Tommy - feel like both are extremely likely, both playing 1- times more gigs now than when they were booked for 2022. Would love osmeone who has seen a whole Two Shell gig other than that fakeout boiler room to opine on if theyre worth the effort - heard they did pre-recorded at glasto too. Irony-performing only works for a short time imo (particuarly when theyre ripping off SOPHIE, but that doesnt bother me too much).
  18. DJ or Live? Seeing him live in a few weeks.

    2023 Stage Predictions

Would love to know the ballpark fee for a West Holts headliner - she's headlining one of the Camp Bestivals this year, in the company of Primal Scream, Groove Armada, Rudimental, The Human League, Confidence Man, Craig David, The Kooks and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, most of whom are entirely within a West Holts third down budget, never mind headliner. "Craig David presents TSS" is immediately below her on the poster she's on - he played that same set on a boat in Sydney Harbour to about 1000 people at 30 quid a head couple of weeks ago.
  20. It is ridiculous to put Britney Spears and RHCP in the same bracket as Spice Girls and Take That. Britney could absolutely have headlined and if her mental health was better could still do. RHCP we’re actually booked to headline pyramid, so you’re hilariously wrong on that one. They’d also have been back if they hadn’t of pissed off Michael.
  21. Commercial success doesn't mean, or even indicate, quality. Also this is a forum, obviously almost everything anyone comments here is opinion - do we really have to put "imo" after every statement to ensure you can parse the meaning of a comment?
  22. Eminem would be a shit booking: His live reputation is shit; He hasnt released a record that wasnt awful in 9 years; he hasn't release a good song in 12 years; he hasn't released a good album in in 18 years; while I dont really care about him being cancelled or controversial or whatever, his particular brand of shock humour, while funny in the 90s and 00s, is unbearably cringe to hear with a modern ear. While Em is a legend, one of the top 5 or 10 biggest artists of my life, he'd be a fucking awful pyramid headline booking.
  23. Kanye was still touring Yeezus when he was booked, which is one of the most influential albums of the past 22 years. Hard to get a mainstream album made by a superstar that's as ground breaking as Yeezus. An absurd statement to make.
  24. How did they (and you?) miss out due to bank authorisation? Like it crashed at that stage?
