Weakest Mad Cool in the last years. A bit strange line up.

Surprised for the possitive reaction here. The album is pure shit, as expected.

What a shit.

How was it overall?
It was not bad but in my opinion the sound was a bit meh. Not their best, not their worst. Decent setlist though (I'd still remove couple of AM songs). I hope if they headline Glasto they play Four out of Five, it's such a banger live.
This was epic:

They’ve played That’s Where You’re Wrong tonight in Prague. Speechless. One of my favourite AM tracks.
Four out of Five also returned.
I was there 😁

I think the wrong link got posted but this was his set list last night https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/kendrick-lamar/2022/paycom-center-oklahoma-city-ok-33b28c95.html
No King Kunta and Swimming Pools (Drank) is painful . For some reason he tends to keep TPAB album a bit out of the recent shows. We were so privileged to not just listen TPAB songs but very unsusual ones like "I" or "The blacker the berry".

I think the setlist can't get any better. Even if you notice the big choreo moments are with the new songs so that kept the crowd in even the ones that maybe were not familiar. Count Me Out was beautiful, N95 and the lights, Silent Hill with the umbrellas, Savior and the finale... Plus they were mixed between the previous albums blocks.
What a night.

Increasingly wondering if I'm conservative calling him for 2025. Probably the next young(ish) rock-leading headliner they get down at the farm.
Not overseas. I saw him at Mad Cool yesterday the crowd was tiny. It's crazy how big he is in UK and how small is overseas.

I reckon a lot less people use lockups than many people think on here. Good amount of people won't even know they exist, or just use them for car keys. Over half the festival won't put phone/wallet in them at night i bet, if not closer to like 75%. Hardly going to bother walking there at 5am after djs etc
As first timer and thanks to this forum I found the lockups super convenient. Coming from overseas and leaving there passport, transport tickets, wallet with all IDs/Insurance cards... and just take with me a prepaid card and the phone was such a relief. Was one of the best things from Glasto. Plus they give toiler paper for free!
And with lovely friendly people working on them 🙂
If I am not here probably I wouldn't even notice they exist.

As much as I love Holly Humberstone, she's nowhere near ready for the Pyramid yet imo. The scale of her JP set took her by surprise I think. Going to see her again in Dec, in a small venue. I think she needs a couple of tours under her belt first.
She is brilliant though, and I'm sure she'll get there, her song writing is incredible, just needs a bit more live experience, (thanks to covid?)
I think she is actually bigger than Easy Life and they got a spot in the Pyramid this year (still no idea why).

I knew kendrick would do his bit but the setlist and the crowd are what elevates this gig into classic status I reckon.
It was loud in the pit where I was (which was to be expected) but I wasn't expecting it to sound as wild as it does watching it back on TV. The crowd feedback during the early Maad City-Money Trees-Backseat Freestyle run is absolutely insane.
Yeah, mad. And what about N95? It's even fucking loud in the BBC. The set is just Glastonbury history. The moment when he stands couple of minutes in silence in front of the crowd and all the field chants "Oh Kendrick Lamar" is also iconic.
I was a bit on the back and the crowd was also bouncing over there. And not just the "youngest" as many would expect.

I went to Glass Animals thinking it was going to be fun (and then unfortunately lost HAIM set) and the first half was absolutely terrible. Bad sound, people off and a weird vibe. Improved since "Youth" and was a bit decent at the end but still, I was expecting something else.

Is there any way or site to download the videos? It would be very nice for the ones we are out of the UK 😁

People complaining about the existence of showers as something bad in probably the worse festival in ratio people-showers. There are literally less than 15 showers in Kidz Field (which are the "official ones) for 210.000 people.
If you don't want to have a shower is ok, but in a festival with such a big amount of kids and people from many ages I think showers are more than neccesary. And I hope it will be more. It's called evolution.

Have seen videos of people seemingly getting in very easily. There's definitely some security that need to lose their jobs.
I personally wouldn't complain if there was a wristband check at SE corner entrance or just random areas where you have to hold your hand up with it on. Would've caught out quite a few if they did that
How people got in?

I am watching now Billie set and oh my god I am so glad I decided to go to Foals (they smashed it).
It looks super dull and the people is totally off, the voice in the background it makes it look weird when she doesn't have her own fanbase in front. Such a difference from Kendrick show, where you can even feel the crowd singing all the songs so loud (even N95).

In my opinion this is their worse album...
