  1. Please please please can we get Paolo Nutini after that TRNSMT announcement? After the rumors of him being a secret set a couple of years ago, I've been constantly waiting for his return. Sub headline could be a nice fit after his long absence? Both himself and the strokes would sell me a weekend ticket right away, not that I ever need much convincing for latitude!
  2. Pavement tour announced for next year including a 4 night stint at the roundhouse. Should already be seeing them at primavera but I'm very tempted by one of those nights
  3. I was only at Leeds for the Friday this year and despite feeling similarly old, I found the bar situation to be very different there that day! Queues we're apparently 45 minutes long or so (from asking people who had just come out with their drinks) which would result in me missing two or three acts. Saved me a nice bit of money at least!
  4. Although I stayed for most of the set, it was disappointing to hear the decline in sound quality for Foals after I had been standing in a similar place for most other main stage acts with it still sounding great. Despite the smallish crowd, Nadine Shah really blew me away. Very glad I went to check her out having not listened to anything by her beforehand. Compared to Leeds festival which I was at on the Friday, I think the two main stage set-up worked so much better here with the other stages being 'on the way' between the two. The problem with Leeds was the other stages all being out the way which meant you very rarely caught a sizable crowd from passing traffic. Hope they keep this for next years events. Echoing above, the only issues I really saw were the toilet queues which were horrific and for the food (which thankfully did die down later in the evening).
  5. This didn't age well. Was waiting there and no Yonaka! Made me miss out on a couple of others
  6. If I'm lucky enough for Squid to be at Leeds on the Friday (please please please) I'd forgo any else that day to go and see them. Absolutely immense set at Latitude and genuinely one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Honestly the best act on that lineup the whole weekend, what an addition! edit: Looks like I'm out of luck. I beg anyone who gets the chance to go catch their set, you won't regret it
  7. Tickets myself although am very much thinking I'll be off to All Points East instead at the moment. The undercard there is very appealing
  8. Looks like they are offering ticket holders to 'gift' two tickets to friends. I came across a link for this, put in a random email address and mine and have now been sent two for free! Can definitely sense a lot of 'competition' tickets being offered now.
  9. Not much from Cavelcade at all, there was John L and Sugar/ Tzu, 953 from Schlangenheim and all of the rest was new stuff. Their setlists for these Windmill shows have been very strange but I'm sure for 'proper' shows it'll be a bit more regimented; or maybe not, you never know with this band!
  10. Made the bizarre decision to go to Black Midi at the windmill last night having just got back from 110 above in the early hours of the very same morning. Safe to say it was a good decision with them even bringing out 953 for a spin. Wow have a couple of days break before Kennyhoopla on Thursday and Green Man at the weekend. The week after keeps nice and busy with Declan McKenna and a day each of Leeds, Victorious and All points east respectively. Really starting to feel like gigs are back in full flow!
  11. I've just seen the request to print tickets although we don't have one at home. Should I be safe showing it on a phone? Will have to try and find one in the next few hours if not!
  12. Coming up with a friend tomorrow afternoon after a bit of work in the morning. Would be great to meet up with some people for a drink if people are about!
  13. Hi all, Attending this for the first time this year and very much looking forward to it. Unfortunately, despite booking it off it looks as if I'll have to head down on Friday afternoon thanks to work constraints. Is there usually a decent amount of space available for pitching? I know it's a small festival but not sure if I should send the friend I'm going with down earlier to get the tent up.
  14. Don't really have a clue what I'm watching here, at least they've been nice enough to put some songs over the top now! I think the 'real' stream is due to start at about 9PM EST which works out at 2AM Friday morning for us, not sure if I can last that long if this is the only content until then edit: this might just be the YouTube stream I'm watching, can't seem to find the official one on apple music.
  15. Hotel finally booked for weekends 1+2 as well as the time off work. Starting to finally feel a bit real now! Just flights to sort out and them I'm all ready for June
  16. Gerry Cinnamon (I do love Post but have seen him far too many times now) AJ Tracey Ho9909 Yonaka
  17. There's a solo campers page on Facebook which has always looked very handy for people in similar situations and by the looks of it has resulted in many long term friendships. Personally, I've done a few on my own in a little two man tent and had great joy in it. Granted I only really go to festivals for the music, it allows me to go and see exactly who I want and have much more freedom however it's also very easy to make friends in a crowd/ groups nearby where you're camping. Sadly I'm not there for the whole weekend this year or I'd offer you to join but if you're looking for some company on the Friday, shoot me a PM and I'd be more than happy to catch up 🙂
  18. Demob Happy Nothing But Thieves Shy FX City Morgue
  19. Perfect, big thanks for that! Nice to see that it runs fairly late as well so I may be able to enjoy some of the post headliner bits and not be rushing straight there
  20. Hi guys, going to Leeds for the first time this year (and only for a day) after many years at the Reading site. Is there a 'shuttle bus' that travels between the festival site and a train station at all? Ideally I'd like to train back to Sheffield on Friday night allowing me to have a few drinks and drive back to Cambridge for their game on Saturday however I'm not sure how possible it is. If needed, I can bite the bullet and drive straight to the festival but I feel I may need a few beers to make it through that KSI set...
