  1. Arguably, you can say too they've been doing the same show for the last 15 years.
  2. Maybe this is it in terms of big names? Aphex at Coura would be a crazy experience, but I'm not sure if it fits the audience. Although, what does fit such diverse crowd?
  3. I say you are right and the numbers shared with the press were ra-balanced to save face. Counter-measures taken Friday onwards in terms of crowd control could make comparisions difficult, but to me 2022 W1 Thursday was the most crowded day of the festival. Anybody who attended the 6 days will agree. I never trust official attendance numbers in festivals, tend to be bullshit when there is any issue (poor sales, logistic problems, etc).
  4. Not that changes much your point, but 2019 was not a success by any measure. Putting asside the PR (festivals never sell less tickets according to their press releases), on 2019 Friday and particularly Thursday the venue was not even at 75% capacity. I myself got a free VIP pass that year, and many people I know got invited. This is tipically a sign of sales going bad.
  5. They have to do their communication campaigns if they don't sell out, and influencer marketing is a new normal. It shouldn't be a sign per se Having said that, I think Madrid is not doing well. Barcelona I don't know; but I'm a local and only another person I know will attend. 10 years ago we were dozens. Even in 22 I had many friends and acquaintances attending. Add the bad 22 experience, the line up is not what used to be, they particularly stretched the ticket prices and a weak pound. This is a receipt for low sales. But, honestly, not only I don't care, I hope for it if that means a more confortable experience.
  6. Awesome to see a little line up that does not look like the rest in Europe. Nicely curated.
  7. Thanks Banana, fingers crossed you are right regarding the heat. I saw the difference between highest and lowest temperatures is massive. I will bring all types of clothes.
  8. Another solo-goer, here. In fact it will be my first time in the festival, so plenty of dubts! Anybody with some experience around here? 1. I'm wondering about food; what are the options? Are there cheap restaurants in the village or festival site? Are they crowded? Should I bring my own food? 2. I've booked a so-called Quibi at one of the glamping providers. Any thoughs? What about temperatus early morning? I've realised temperatures can get quite high... Any help will be very welcome! @tb_hs let's talk if you wan't to meet :)
  9. Absolutely, yesterday they lost most of their reputation.
  10. It's possible to do both, not sure where the connection is beyond your interest to expand criticism. Yesterday was a shit show, some people around here had reasonable doubts that were confirmed. Frankly, service at bars is the only they can improve (not sure if this is possible in 24 hours though). Festival is mega crowded, and there's no step back for that.
  11. Lol, check your inbox. No physical book this year like in past editions. Cheap
  12. We'll see, situation at Cupra stage has been critical for years.
  13. How come such denial? Public figures provided by organizers are unrealiable. Considering on venue changes there will be much more people than in 2019. +15k per day? I say more. Mark my words, it will be obvious at main stages and even more at minor stages that open until 6am. Caribou will be a nightmare.
