No idea what it was like elsewhere but where we were for Macca had plenty of space. Busy enough there was an atmosphere, but enough space that 10 of us had plenty of room for a dance.

Sort of inline with the left hand screen, just at the 2nd row of repeaters.

Same we watched from the front left corner for billie and macca and had ample space. But wow the crowd for TLC and Wet Leg was insane luckily escaped out of wet leg to the pier and played bingo.

  2. Staying in Castle cary Dan the hotel manager/farmer was with Michael Eavis and michaels wife yesterday and he asked if Harry Styles was playing for his kids , Michael's wife lizzie winked at him.

    Hi Everyone,

I am planning on proposing to my girlfriend at Glastonbury this year and I was hoping to see if anyone else has done this before and has any ideas/advice they would like to share? I have a vague idea about when and where I would like to do it, but if anyone has any tips to make it extra special I would love to hear it. It’s a very special place to us, and we will have loads of friends there, so I am hoping to do it somewhere fun, maybe up by the sign.

I read one of the threads from ‘@Kanye’s Cock’ who did it up there and that looked so fun, it would be amazing to organise something like that.

    Thanks!

Someone did it at the sigh a few years ago and it was really atmosphere

  4. Grace jones? She just did the Southbank centre and if you noticed the bbc glastonbury show Emily had a sketch of her next to a sketch of the burning lotus going in the park.

That was great! Really well put together!

I loved the bit at the end seeing all the sketches and maps on the wall in Emily's office! Like a behind the scenes look!

See you all on the farm!

Yeah I noticed the Lotus and a drawing of Grace Jones.

Yeah I'm one of them and I've just assumed the shuttle is for ticket holders regardless of whether you arrived on a train or not.

Yes I think so to after checking the website.

A few people were talking about staying in CC on Tues night & getting the shuttle - on that admittedly tenuous hearsay you should be fine…?!

Hopefully someone has a more definitive answer for you. 🙂

I've had a hotel booked tuesday there for a year. Original plan was train tue, shuttle wed. But tonight I've cancelled the train got a refund minus £10 admin.

    fantastic ! show those haters.

Maybe this is going to be the best legend slot yet, she seems to radiate joy, which is much needed.

How many others do this do you think? Staying in Castle Cary to make use of the coaches vs staying there to drive in. For non drivers like us its always been the backup for when we aren't going with friends in cars and this is the first year I've had to use it, but I'd imagine a lot would be in the same position?

It actually feels like the best option for non drivers - 6am shuttle bus on dedicated roads.

No idea but there are very limited hotels in Castle cary itself, some on the outskirts and lots in glastonbury town but that's 30 mins drive away.

With potentially delayed trains I hope they're still running the castle cary shuttle buses from 6am like it says on the site, or at least tell us they aren't beforehand. We're staying there to get in early.

    Same
