  1. Hey pals! I hope you’re all nearly packed and sorted for the festival. If you see my flag come and say hi and I’ll have a little gift for you. I had so many lovely folk from this forum and Twitter come up to me in 2019 and I’m so excited to see all those happy faces again next week! Ben - @ben_cameron on Twitter
  2. I’ve had the situation with my trainers being absolutely caked in mud, just absolutely riddled with grot. Binned them. but yeah, learning that some of the better walking boots have that water treatment stuff on them. I’m going shopping!
  3. Ah, I’ll go check it out. And thank you!
  4. Weather for this year aside I’d like to hear from the boot wearers. I’ve always chosen wellies (I have short ones for when it’s not mudfest) because even though the walking boots look nice and comfy they look like SUCH a ballache to clean when they get muddy. is that just part and parcel of sturdy comfort? How easy do you find yours to maintain? Maybe it’s time I bought a pair… cheers!
  5. I tweeted this the Saturday before Glasto 2019. I was ready and prepared for what I thought was going to be an absolute shockerthe Saturday before Glasto 2019. I was ready for an absolute shocker
  6. Very close to 30 if not the big three-oh itself (I think it was the new record for temp at Glasto)
  7. Hey pals, has anyone got a brief rundown of any confirmed acts for the secret slots and also any strong rumours? Trying to scroll pack through 49 pages to understand what has been shared is proving a tad tricky. thank you
  8. You won’t be the only one. The 2017 Wednesday almost finished me off. I passed out in a slither of shade beside my tent having mild hallucinations (queued overnight so was tired too), just awful. The site wide cheer when that cloud covered the sun in the evening will stay with me forever.
  9. I just want everyone to be as relaxed as possible. I'm cool, just wouldn't want to put anyone at risk. I lost my dad to it a christmas so I know, you know. I'll be taking the test that morning just to be absolutely sure there's no chance I could be passing it on to anyone. Though Ive been doing lat flows regularly for months and i've been to busy places. Combi of luck and being double jabbed, no positives. Back to festival chat, i'm SO excited to get back into a field with good music, food and folk. I really, really, really need it x
  10. We're planning to do lat flow tests on thursday morning. Is anyone else doing this? I wouldn't be against them making that an entry requirement alongside jab status.
  11. Probably around 11am! Got nothing else going on that day and will be waking up in a hotel in Salisbury (midday checkout) so might as well head in early. Get pitched and chill til Monday.
  12. Does anyone know if EOTR release a list of food vendors before the event
  13. I hope those emails don't end up in junk folders!
  14. @Sean1234321when booking do you have to disclose how many people in your party because if there's a big yurt that can fit 6 but only booked by a couple thats 4 spaces not claimed... (I presume you see where I'm going with this)
  15. @Sean1234321 I'm now looking into getting hold of a boutique camping wristband just so my girlfriend can use the pamper tent...
  16. @Losing my hairI too am follicly challenged but my girlfriend has enough hair for the both of us.
  17. @snipe Do you know if boutique camping (or pamper tent) is restricted to just those who have paid for glamping? Or can anyone rock up to that tent and use the facilities?
  18. Another (maybe stupid) question. Any chance these showers have an area you can plug a hairdryer into? I know this is pushing into glamping territory but need to ask before looking into a cordless option. Ta!
  19. Hey pals, This will be my first time at EOTR (if it goes ahead, fingers crossed!) and I was curious if anyone knows of a a post detailing the camping situation. Glastonbury has a big breakdown of camping spots all over the web but I can't find anything similar for EOTR. I know this festival is a lot smaller but I'm still hoping for some basic info so I ca pick out an area too head to straight away. If anyone is familiar with EOTR and knows about the camping, my fave and regular place to pitch at Glasto is Bushy Ground. If anyone knows of any blog of forum posts about any part of EOTR that I can read up that would be fab. I do like to go to these things with a little bit of knowledge. Thanks in advance!
