  1. Same with Ticketmaster and SEE said sold out immediately on 12:00:00 too.
  2. Quite underwhelming, but a few decent additions. I've heard good things about Mandrake Handshake, but not seen them yet. What's Rhodri Davies like solo? Seen him a few times as part of Hen Ogledd, but assume it's quite different!
  3. Same! Got an error at the top from 10:12 onwards stating 'ticket limit reached' (in addition to them not being available).
  4. No luck. Thought I was in as I got put straight to 400 in the queue on one device and was through at 10:01, but they were all gone!
  5. Been expecting for this kind of show to be announced for weeks, but it's going to be chaos for tickets! So, so desperate to be there.
  6. Agreed, Honeyglaze have been great whenever I've seen them (and they've been pretty ubiquitous in London in recent times). The first time was Anoushka playing their songs solo in the garden of the Victoria in one of the very first post-lockdown outdoor shows in the summer of 2020; the best was supporting Geese at the Sebright Arms, despite an issue with a cymbal mic. They really suit an early slot, with people respecting the moment. If they're on early at GM, they'll win a lot of new fans.
  7. Exactly! We've been once too, 8 (!) years ago, and loved it. We cycled then from the UK for the full Dutch vibe (actually filmed it for the festival that time) and will probably do the same this year. Very easy from the ferry, even with my level of fitness! Not to go too off topic here, but the line is invariably great and the location is fantastic. It rarely gets much love on these forums, which surprises me (maybe the name isn't ironic after all!). Nick Cave, The Strokes and Alt-J headlining this year, with great depth too. My biggest gripe is that things don't kick off until mid-afternoon on the Friday! Would highly recommend anybody who likes Primavera/APE style line ups to check it out.
  8. Similarly, we'd have bought tickets for the Nick Cave day at APE if we weren't seeing him at Best Kept Secret. I'm sure European festival bookings aren't accounting for much of dip in sales for APE though. It's months away and I suspect it'll sell out but it is a busy time of year for festivals and I much preferred APE in May as a warm up for the season.
  9. Feels odd to have this show in the middle of a run of standard shows at the same venue!
  10. Awesome! A spreadsheet 4 and a half months out is right up my street!! I've not dived into the line-up properly yet, but I think Soccer 96 could potentially be a Walled Garden after dark act?
  11. Me too! I got a little bit overexcited for a few minutes!!
  12. Just noticed @lessthanwill1's latest Twitter exchange with GM. They used a clock emoji with 3 pm on the face. Any chance that was a reference to today rather than being generic?!
  13. I've not been to Glastonbury, but in general my opinion is if you've done something you are a veteran of that thing. So, once!
  14. New, unheard ones. Some may be adapted from those played by Tyler Cryde, but I'm not certain of that.
  15. Black Country, New Road have announced a handful of UK shows in addition to confirming festivals. All new songs. edit: tickets on sale at 10am tomorrow.
  16. Agree that'll help. Depends on the quality of the songsb though, of course. I loved their set the first time without knowing any of their music at all, but it was only 8 songs long. Intrigued how they maintain the joyous vibe whilst carrying the inevitable (and no shame in it at this point) lesser tracks over a longer set.
  17. Great to hear. Perhaps (similar to what Gilgamesh said) a full set, rather than 25 minutes at a festival or as a support act, is still a bit much for them right now?
  18. I've seen them a couple of times, both last summer. The first was at Latitude and was before I'd heard anything from them (although everybody else had apparently heard Chaise Lounge!). They were the buzz-band of the weekend, so I went along early for their set in a little tent (with capacity further reduced due to covid) and was one of the lucky few to actually get inside. That was their second live set post-lockdown, after a warm-up on the IOW the previous night, and therefore the second time they ever played Chaise Longue live too. They were utterly joyous and were genuinely shocked on that occasion. The room seemed filled with other bands and music industry folk too, so something obviously seemed afoot very early on. Every tune seemed great to me and I had no idea which was the hit until everybody started singing along. I was also lucky enough to see them again a couple of weeks later at Green Man, in the aforementioned joyous video. I'm actually in the video, next to the old dude having the time of his life! Again it was amazing and they still seemed shocked by their popularity. Got a ticket for them at Scala in a few weeks, but a little worried that initial buzz may have worn off? It was the infectious joy and their happy-go-lucky vibe which was the real draw back then.
  19. Might not be the time/place to ask this, but do we think Courtney Barnett will add a show of her own now in London on the Saturday she was due to support the Foos at London Stadium (and the equivalent day for Birmingham too)? She currently just has UK dates in Cardiff, Liverpool, Nottingham and at Glasto,
  20. Same. Just a spinning wheel to the right of the venue map. Presumably sold out, but it doesn't say that.
  21. I couldn't see a thread for this year's BKS (tickets still available - https://www.bestkeptsecret.nl/). Great line-up as always for 2022 - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Strokes, and alt-J the headliners. Does anybody know when further additions to the line-up will come? Judging by the speculative Clashfinders people have put together - I think we're due approximately 15 acts for the main three stages across the weekend.
  22. Cheers for all of the advice everyone. Much appreciated! No luck for me once again (that's every sale for 10-12 years). I got through at 18:12, selected a London coach (good times too on the Wed, from quite a few options) and clicked buy only to be told it was then unavailable and to reselect, but they were all suddenly unavailable. Kept trying and one actually popped up at 18:20, but the same thing happened again. I used to get angry, now I'm resigned to this!
  23. (Actually Aug 6th - my mistake!) Intrigued to see who they book this year - the past few line-ups have been great, although I've only actually made it to one. Most likely to have to miss this year too now, as planning to be away for the new July weekend.
  24. My thoughts too. Had an early bird for Aug 7th since last year's event.
  25. I managed to get Stones and Sigur Ros presales today. Makes a change to not be the one moaning about the infuriating queue systems for once! Good luck to those still trying. Been an expensive week with Phoebe & LCD too! Feels great to have these sort of level of gigs back again post-Covid, but I think I might've got a bit carried away 😬
