Not a fan of commercial sponsors at Glastonbury but I am quite looking forward to Goldie Looking Chain headlining the dryrobe stage.
f**k me, given the amount of posho corporate tie ups this year, this is in no way far fetched

It really needs a Starbucks
McDonald’s in Shangers for an early morning bite would be amazing. Needs to happen.

What.... these days you say your English and they will throw you in jail?
Yeah. True fact. Happened to my mate Laurence. Poor old Foxy.

Reckon I can change all your opinions... had a little leak from a certain E Eavis that the Pyramid speaker this year is brave patriot Tommy Robinson. I'll be there supporting him even though you get locked up for saying you're English these days.

I'd give it a go. Does it lead to a criminal record?

Dunno if this is a good example of what you want, but The Miniscule Of Sound, a nightclub that I reckon could have squeezed in about 8 people max (plus the DJ booth) was great fun.
This was at Lollapalooza too.

Hi,
Forthe second time running a lovely mate has got me tickets. I got him a couple of decent bottles of red last time, but want to get a little thank you that’s a bit more interesting. Any ideas?
I sent my ticket buyer a crate of Brothers. https://brotherscider.co.uk/collections/festival-apple
EDIT: Missed the date.

If you read back through this thread (bit long) you'll come across several people who had confirmation emails that their reg had been updated and then when they used the checker it said no registrations associated with this email address.
Great it wasn't yours but 260 of a million or more isn't a good sample.
The point I'm making is that all those 260 regs were manually checked, as well as receiving emails.

(I'd also give evens on some of these people who are saying "no-one in my large group got deleted" coming back on here absolutely fuming on ticket day about how they missed out because one of the registrations in their group wasn't recognised. The level of confidence to say that probably goes hand in hand with the level of confidence of "I don't need to re-check")
All 260 registrations were individually checked post the cut off date, and again the week of the original sale date. None were invalid.

The old ground is people on here literally saying it happened to them, so you've come in quite aggressive, for what it's worth.

This is my first log in since July, so apologies if I'm covering old ground - I'm sure I am - but this really pissed me off.
Out of 260 people I'm aware of across 2 syndicates, no-one had their reg deleted after going through the re-registration process.
I can't help feel this has been done purely to appease the whining moaning contingent of people who can't follow simple f**king instructions.
-
I'm going to sound a right old miserable c**t, but f**k it - I'll say it anyway. I don't understand why anyone would spend money on a personalised number plate. It seems such a waste of money to me. I just don't *get it*.
The only circumstances I can understand it in, is when a company buys them for a fleet and it makes vehicles more easily identifiable, plus it's a business cost so not coming out of anyone's pocket.
Baffles me.

Where do you stand on campervan folk @Superscally? I can (and have in the past) walk from the outer reaches of the car parks carrying a seriously heavy load, but I'd much prefer to drive up in my van, carry nothing, and have a double bed kitchen, toilet and shower on hand all weekend. Is that anti-vibez?

Depressed to find myself in the second oldest age bracket!
Ha, same! Love to imagine the student making their survey an thinking, "yeah, 39+ will do - surely no-one older than that is even still alive?" Must seem impossibly old to them.

Yeah, thought it would be something like that - even if it is a little de rigueur for my liking. Can't see a staircase though. I can only think that you have yet to install a fireman's / woman's / they's / it's pole within the van?
There's a lift - you sit on the loo and pressing the flush fires you up there.

I like the extending roof. Looks like the top floor of a house, complete with guttering, double glazing and white rendered outside wall finish etc!
Yeah, it's a pop top. Two double bedrooms and an en suite up there.

Added clipper tea
There are ticket competitions being run by:
Co-op (pre existing)
Vodafone (pre existing)
Guardian (pre existing)
Brothers (pre existing)
Tony's Chocolenly / oxfam (pre existing but relatively new)
Chillys (new)
Barbour (new)
Hunter wellies (new)
White Claw Hard Seltzer (new)
Clipper Tea (new)
It also seems these tie ups are resulting in far more tickets being available in competitions, as Vodafone have pver 100 pairs and the Chillys comps are giving out six at a time.
The main issue is probably also that the new ones are with companies which seem marketed at a certain demograaaaphic.
