A Day To Remember subbed 3 festivals ago, that’s the mad one to me
That day was great, probably still my favourite festival day to date. That little run of Frank Carter > ADTR > Foo Fighters was awesome, plus Shikari earlier in the day. Loved it

Looks like Fender may be doing St James’ Park too. Surely not that, BST AND R+L next year?

Sum 41 and Dropkicks replaced Rancid and then Dropkicks dropped out (waheeey) too later. Bit of a mess so it's hard to gauge. I think it was Neck Deep who were announced last.
Possibly Turnstile are due to be the third, probably closer to the size of the others than ADTR.
Did Dropkicks drop out? I'm sure they were there....mind you, I was hammered the whole time, staggering towards Alexisonfire, haha
Got recommendations by Turnstile? Heard they're pretty good, and seem to be getting a lot of praise

Bigger than both of the current ones, I can't see that being a later addition unless I've missed something with how SD do announcements.
I'm sure (if I'm not mistaken) that Sum 41 weren't in the first wave of announcements for 2022? Just Alexisonfire and Rancid who are (probably) smaller than Sum 41?

Anyone fancy ADTR as the last headliner?
Ah please. Surely there's a chance they'll still be announced?

Billy Talent is a huge win for me, been wanting to see those guys for years
-
Enter Shikari and The Offspring confirmed, looks like they released a video on Insta early
-
Looong shot, but anyone selling x2 tickets for Electric Callboy at the NX Newcastle (former O2 Academy Newcastle) on the 24th September? Desperate to find a pair somewhere

Probably wishful thinking, but would love to see Pendulum in the tent. Could be a great alternative to Metallica (same slot Shikari played against Tool)

I just want NOFX to be gone for years. To say I've had my fill of them would be an understatement.
The Offspring tick my festival boxes so would be an excellent headliner IMO. Plenty of jumping and singing and stuff. All I really want or need right there. Any chance of Rise Against here?I'd love Rise Against, argue they could headline a stage (or maybe sub The Offspring?)
-
In all seriousness, I also hope Rage aren’t rebooked. With the way the festival is heading, just wouldn’t get the proper crowd reaction they deserved. Be far better off doing their own headline show at Finsbury or something

...Rage Against The Machine? 😉

Was listening to Queens of the Stone Age the other day. Much as I love their stuff, I cannot stand Josh Homme. The obvious domestic abuse allegations spring to mind, but some of his on stage antics (kicking a camera, acting the 'hard man') make me cringe
Vocally, I think the guy is great, and a hell of a musician. But on a human level, nah
-
Highly doubt it (don't think they've ever played in the UK?), but would love to see Anarbor in a slot somewhere
-
After Slam Dunk, PLEASE get Alexisonfire there somewhere
-
I’m convinced on A Day To Remember. Would go down well, and like you said, feel like they owe them. Could see Rise Against there as well (big enough to headline?)
Noticed Yellowcard are back together, could definitely see them trying to get them in as well
-
Looks like The Killers are playing at the O2 Academy Sheffield. 17th May. Not sure if there’s any other dates
-
Leeds Festival in 2019 remains one of my favourite performances ever. Taylor absolutely owned the stage during Under Pressure. Just went back and watched it on YouTube now. Great drummer, even better person

Metro Radio also tweeted saying 10th June as well. Could see them doing the Saturday too like
