  1. Saw Biffy tonight in Sheffield. The perfect mix of old and new for me. Some glaring misses from the setlist, but probably a solid 8 out of 10 setlist for me. Looked similar to Cambridge’s setlist.

Man, after having tickets for that gig for roughly a year, felt good to see them. First time seeing them, and definitely won’t be the last.

  2. Been obsessed with Damned If I Do Ya, Damned If I Don’t by All Time Low recently. Would love to see them make a return. Sold out UK tour recently, would think they are a safe bet. New album wasn’t half bad either.

Headline set in The Pit against a rap act would go lovely for me

  3. Gorillaz playing festivals in June, July and now August next year. Shout for a wild card headliner?

Saw them at The O2 in August, were well good, proper feel good (no pun intended) live act.

Feel like they could have featured acts on songs (like slowthai and Slaves and Little Simz) on the undercard too.

BMTH and ADTR tour in Europe next year. No UK dates but those two were never gonna tour together here anyway.

Would have been a killer tour in the UK. Still think ADTR will do their own standalone shows, but this makes Bring Me more likely I think

Aitch played the halftime show at the NFL yesterday. He finished his performance, said goodbye and thanks, and there was like no clapping/cheering at all. It was like people just ignored him.

Good to hear. Honestly nothing personal, but the guy is fucking horrendous

  6. Just heading back from seeing Bring Me in Glasgow. Unreal, up there with one of the best gigs I’ve been to. Great setlist for me personally, new songs were phenomenal live, unreal production, and Oli sounding better than ever. Don’t care what anyone says, they would absolutely smash a headline set, whether that be at R+L or Download.

On a side note, no ‘Fuck’ with Josh Francheschi and Oli not coming out for ‘Bite My Tongue’ was weird.

Bring Me the Horizon just got another number 1 album.

Possible for next year as a headliner if this whole two stage thing is a permanent addition?

Hate this argument. They've been working their way up the bill for years, and on the back of POST HUMAN, more than deserve a shot. When you see Catfish and Disclosure headlining, it really shouldn't be out of the realms of possibility.

You Me At Six are teasing something to do with Hold Me Down's 10th Anniversary. I think it'll undoubtedly be a tour (like they did with TOYC) and I can see them being added to R&L. Third down under QOTSA and Yungblud would be right for them. Doing HMD in full in that slot would work too as the album is only 40mins long.

I know they've got an album out in January but they did this last time with the TOYC anniversary shows being at the same time as their latest album cycle.

I believe they've been hinting previously that they'll be doing Sinners Never Sleep in full as well. Granted, those may be standalone shows, but two great albums from them. Would love to see them both in full.

They would be a fantastic addition to the QOTSA day though, agreed.

  9. Bit late, but All Time Low are playing 3 UK dates late September. I'd say that pretty much rules them out of Reading and Leeds. Big shame, as I was impressed with their latest album. Perfect summery festival band.

The venues they are playing are quite small compared to the ones they did the last time too.

Think standing is £65.50, not sure about seats

Cheers man, literally saw it on Twitter a few minutes after I posted, but thank you anyway! Saw £65.50 for some seats, as well as £54.00 for others as well, in case anyone else was looking for prices.

A band I've wanted to see since I was a kid, so I'm crossing everything for these tickets (and that COVID is under control by then).
