  1. Holy F… what time Metro service closed on Friday? Probably will skip Run the Jewels to avoid transport queue
  2. So how was the bus queue to Placa Catalunya last night?
  3. Nah you’re good. Everyone got their own opinion. I’ve been to PS since 2013, and eventho I still have a good time at the fest, it felt different and (way) less magical compare to the previous year. Would appreciate, if you have any opinion on other good festival that I can visit (non camping one).
  4. I think we are all aware that the space is limited. And I have experience queueing for a big act in Sala Apolo for Brian Jonestown. But the massive queue right now was happened in almost all of the Ciutat gig regardless of the performer, while in the past I have no trouble entering Sala Apolo for performance like Bieyi, SG Lewis, Sea and Cake, the Beths, Torres etc etc. Somehow it shows that this year that PS oversell the ticket with a “marketing promise” that at least the tix holder able to see one of the Ciutat performer. I highly understand the massive disappointment of the tix holder.
  5. And now there’s an Instagram account @primaverasucks with already 102 posts. Someone’s must be really pissed off at the festival lol
  6. Yeah..I mean what really other option out there? (The non camping one). The one that doesn’t start early in the afternoon, chill ambience, good crowd, affordable food and bar, lack of security (I really enjoy the safe feeling of smoking weed, chilling and watch a performance) with good lineup. I heard mixed review on Madcool but probably will explore that festival next year to experience other options.
  7. Wow, just thinking about to try this Madrid Primavera next year. So, you are not recommending this venue? How about Mad Cool, is it a good festival in Madrid with a good location?
  8. Frickin WoW.. might just give up on this Interpol thing. Probably just have a good dinner, few drinks and watch Gilles Petterson and its Acid Jazz friends
  9. The Falafel and Meatball booth and La Porca burger in the big food court area are superb
  10. Yeah the VIP new setting was not working well, especially in the mid VIP area with lack of toilet and bar. I’m affraid they are going with the direction of American festival, where there are several classes of VIP area. The back VIP area (biggest one) allocated to “basic VIP” while the mid and front VIP area allocated to the “premium VIP audience” who able to pay very expensive ticket price.
  11. So, any special line for VIP and W1&W2 tix holder? Haven’t seen it in Barts
  12. The queue for Magnetic Field is Crazyyyyyy… luckly I already bought the ticket. But, need to rethink the strategy for slowdive tomorrow and Interpol the day after. If anyone want to sell their DICE tix, please DM me.
  13. Agree. Primavera still a special festival, and had a total blast in the W1 (despite the shitty day 1). But this year seems different with the previous ones..where everything is seems so easy and chill. Can’t really explain in words, but probably I’m just too old for music festival 🙂. Let see how W2 goes, but seeing the influx of Tourist today in Barcelona, the crowd in W2 can be more overwhelming than in W1.
  14. Reallly?. I managed to bought Magnetic Fields tix tomorrow. Probably will go berserk, if they are not allow me to enter the venue lol
  15. Any Info on Razzmataz queue would be appreciate (p.s: I’m not a 2 weekend tix holder). Does the application reflecting the real capacity on the venue? Really want to see Jamila Woods
  16. Gorillaz was surreal. I wonder whether they play the similiar set with the same featuring artist at W2? Fatoumata Diawara, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, MOS DEF, De la soul and one of the member of Pharcyde (forget his name) were already star studded, but would love to relive the experience with a twist on the set list and guest performer.
  17. Been blessed with Cave, Albarn and Tyler. Good frickin day indeed.
  18. I don’t think so. Went to the coffee booth at 3.00 am (day 1) and 1.45 am (day 2) and they already closed
  19. Does anyone manage to watch any performer in Auditori yesterday? How was the queue? Really want to watch Jenny Hval today
  20. Yesterday was a beautiful day. Positive ambience, chill crowd and of course wonderful music performance. Started my day with Beach Bunny, bough nomad and three marks coffee for long day ahead, continue with Weyes Blood, Fontaines, Beck (shed a little tear during Lost Cause singalong), The Amazing National and Caribou (who I thought a worthy headliner with that crazy ‘Sun’ performance). Can’t feel my leg and went home early (missing Mogwai & Jeff Mills) to avoid being cramped in Tram. But overall 100 out 100 experience. Can’t wait for today!!!
  21. The saddest thing that not everyone have the opportunity to go next year. This year fest is the only opportunity and it’s a frickin shit show on what they called as “the 20 year edition, the best of the best”. God dammnit I’m pissed off as hell
  22. Went to Primavera every year since 2014, in which I fell in love instantly. But don’t you think this year PS has different ambiance (at least week 1 day 1), feel unsafe, a lot of anger and negative emotion and on top of that Bar queue…not for alcohol but common water. I’m afraid this will be next astroworld
  23. While we had a disagreement in this forum about artist cancellation, VIP setting (which is total shite.. my wife almost missed all SVE set due to drinks queue IN THE VIP section..good lord), etc etc. I think we all are agree this the shitiest Primavera ever. Artist still great, but Seems they just lost their magic and feels like any other shitshow festival
  24. In love with PS since 2014 and keep coming back. Nevertheless, this year is feels different. Band still good, but the ambience is weird, uncomfortable, scary..especially with all of high emotion in the queue (bar, water, toilet). Overcrowded for sure, my wife almost pass out during Dinosaur JR (eventho we stand in way behind from stage). And IDK, a lot of the crowd is big A-hole, especially in the Tram home, where several British guys was elbowing my wife in order to get spot in the crammed Tram, and they laugh without even apologizing. F##K, the festival that I love most is becoming shit show.
