  1. Greenpeace aren’t that amazing to be honest, I know people who have worked with them for a while and didn’t have the best time. But yeah the green shirts are a bit much, I find it’s best to tell them you’ve already signed up but lost your wrist band. They always gave me spares 🤣
  2. Me too, I needed this year off after last year, but this is exactly the feedback I wanted to hear. I’ll be trying in October for sure. Nice to have a year off and observe from afar though! It looked awesome ☺️
  3. Was similar for Megan Thee Stallion up against Macca last year, oof
  4. f**k sake, that is ideal 👌 why am I not there 🤣

    Rick Astley

He should headline, would be a f**king great singalong 🤣
  6. Yup definitely saw them the one time they played 👌

    Guns n Roses

I don’t think he’s sounding as bad as he has been recently! They’re smashing it!
  8. They did that weird Europe song in the middle with some random German chick too. Was a bit off
  9. f**king hell, Rick Astley is so much better than anticipated! I knew he was talented, but not that talented, fair play!! Never thought I’d have FOMO over missing him either 🤣
  10. Nah they’ll be playing next year when I’ll hopefully have a ticket 🤣👌
  11. I doubt anybody would notice, the stewards are usually sparse and just sitting on chairs looking at their phones anyway.
  12. Honestly this was my biggest problem last year, in hindsight I now know I shouldn’t have bothered with Shadowhawk Duo on the bandstand, but in previous years there wouldn’t have been anywhere near as big a crowd for a bandstand act…it’s purely because it’s something to watch. Not that they aren’t awesome. I‘ll be taking a camper if I get tickets for next year so might just hide out in it on the Thursday until the evening 🤔
  13. I am also waiting to see what everyone thinks of the crowds this year, it’s the only reason I’m not there.

    I feel sick

I’ve had that before but with a “mate” who forgot he had given his reg out to other people. The only time I’ve ever had a booming screen and we got kicked. Thank f**k we got them in the resale that year or he would no longer be my friend and fellow DJ

    I feel sick

I’m in the same boat, I actively avoided going this year as last year was far too busy for me (and I’m good in crowds), so have been trying to remind myself why I’m not there. My husband vowed he’d never return, BUT I have just bought a camper van and as soon as I brought it home he said “I’d consider doing Glastonbury again in this”, and has since asked how you get campervan tickets…so we’ll be back. Hopefully next year, and hopefully after hearing all about this year and how much better it was than the first post pandemic festival!
  16. I invested in a luminoodle…and that saved my arse during the day several times trying to find my black phone within the black tent
  17. Nothing. I am going to get a camper van next year instead of going to the festival…and then I’ll have a sick camper ready to roll in 2024 👌
  18. I’m a flat footed person, but who also has bunions so I need a wider shoe. Rocket dogs are now my sneaker of choice and I did the whole festival wearing mine this year, nice and wide, and have memory foam soles 👌 Way better than converse, and much funkier fabric patterns!
  19. I had a similar situation at the Brixton academy once, Placebo started and the whole crowd right in front of the stage started swaying and people were falling over. Me and my mate got the hell out and went home! Never experienced anything like that before…
  20. I’m not camping next time…and it won’t be next year, I need an expensive tropical holiday before I need another Glastonbury
  21. That was my experience of that crush, it was a 4 direction crush with no crowd management featuring a lot of spangled people…and yes, I did feel crushed and it was scary. The only crush I’ve previously been in at Glastonbury was trying to see Fat Boy Slim at 1am on a Thursday at the Blues, which was in a bottleneck. That one was due to a scheduling boo boo, this same crush scenario in Arcadia happened the next day too…that seems pretty inexcusable to me.
  22. Thanks to the guy who gave me a refreshing misting of water when I was absolutely sweltering on Wednesday.
  23. Two excellent jackets, some fleecy trousers, a cool top. And a desire to move west…this year I think.
  24. When we decided to do our usual walk up to the Glastonbury sign in Wednesday, which is usually busy but not people soup, we were quite surprised to see this.
