  1. I haven't yet tried by sneaking in but that gate wouldn't be my first choice. Wouldn't you have to run past the farm house and other crew BOH bits/checkpoints?
  2. Anyone selling out stadiums consistently for as long as they have is probably a mega headliner. Not Elton's last show kind of mega but mega nonetheless Norm at the park was still better though

    2024 Headliners

    Didn't get a ticket then?

    2024 Headliners

    Wait what's changed?
  5. Emily has been very open previously about trying to achieve a 50/50 lineup, but has stopped mentioning it in recent years once she realised it's simply not possible in the current musical landscape.
  6. They're almost the size of the pyramid itself and I doubt you couldn't see that.

    2024 Headliners

Sorry if I'm late to the party but what's the solid info about Stevie? If there is any.
  8. Did any of them actually open though? Obviously that's the point, that most people won't see them open but I haven't heard many stories about what may or may not have been behind them. Was it just for show?
  9. I think those days are gone. Too much cost/effort for a tiny number of people that get to see them. They've focussed on introducing higher capacity venues down there over the last decade

    Jibbing?

Those that want to will try anyway. Exposing the ways to do so on this forum that the festival definitely read is the best way to stop it if you wanted to. Attempting to break in has been a part of the festival for decades, almost encouraged by ME at times.
  11. Mega walk back from Shangri-La at 5am if you're that way inclined though.

    Jibbing?

I mean there absolutely is, it's just hard. spoke to several people last year and even more the year before who had to "keep their wrists covered" all weekend. follow the scousers

    Spare Gig Tickets

Not spare (YET, we'll see in a few hours) but selling 2 x ticket for the Reytons at Kentish Town Forum tonight. Unreserved balcony. bought extras by mistake and would love to recoup at least some of this cost. HMU with any offers.

    Visiting the site

Whenever we've done it there has been no issues from anyone we've seen at all. use your common sense (I.e, park/pennard hill was being used for clay pigeon shooting/certain hidden bar was fenced off so gave them both a moss). If asked to leave say no worries and move along. Gave a few people from Worthy Farm a wave whilst walking and they all simply waved back, didn't seem too angry to us.
  15. Life was getting a bit tough and I cried my eyes out (behind sunglasses) at bjorn again opening the pyramid last year maybe? I'm not even a huge abba fan but seeing the pyramid in full flow for the first time after a while just hit me and no one I was with knew it.
  16. Agreed, it's all about the enthusiasm of those around you. Stood 5m into row mead and it was still great. Elton managed to spread it throughout most of the crowd for something really special. Just one Springsteen/macca sized guest required to tip it over the edge.
  17. Agreed, I'm all for flags but corporate logos should be categorically band. Someone from our group a couple years ago had to wake up early Wednesday Thursday Friday to speak to moyles on the phone for his breakfast show. Could you be arsed?
  18. Jesus, let your hair down a little. sounds like a party atmosphere.
  19. I think they just take a while to freeze after they've been refilled or something like that, but try enough bars and you shall find. Banging every time if you happen to be right place right time.
  20. I'm sure the masses who fry and fail to get tickets every year will fill your spot. Love the flags just don't know anyone can be arsed to carry round a flag pole all day. Mine stays firmly in the ground at the tent.
