Nowhere near as bad, but at the first ever festival I went to (not Glastonbury, a tiny one called Tales of The Jackalope) me and my mate didn't know what we were doing, so we borrowed my mates tall fishing tent and when we got there, pitched it nowhere near most of the other tents. We went to watch some music, then when we popped back we found some people chilling out in our tent as they thought it was a first-aid tent. Which was fair enough on their part tbh.

Lately I keep hearing songs and daydreaming of hearing them in the sunshine at Glastonbury with a whole crowd singing along, so I've made a Spotify playlist. Basically it's songs by artists likely(ish) to be there, that I think are going to go down especially well when we're all back together in the field again: I've been kinda loose with who might be there (hello Isley Brothers) and, yes, there is a Yard Act song in there. Sorry to the usual suspects. It's a collaborative playlist, so if you have Spotify and want to add more to it, you can. If you don't have Spotify but want me to add to it, feel free to name a song and artist and I'll do the honours. When the line-up drops I might update this list to reflect it.

Completely agree with this. Before G2019 I finally gave in and decided I should buy proper walking boots instead of my very old Dunlop wellies. I did a bit of research online and bought two pairs of reasonably priced walking boots (same pair for me and my GF). Hers were perfectly comfortable, and she still wears them to walk in the park etc. now. Mine were very uncomfortable and no amount of breaking them in since has made them more so. A complete waste of money. Luckily in 2019 it didn't matter but I'll be trying before I'm buying for my next pair for sure!

Am I right in thinking it's open on the Wed and Thu nights too? And if so, what kind of time do you have to get there to get in on those nights?

That was my guess. Left Thundercat about 4 songs in at Green Man and went to see her instead and it was possibly the best decision I've ever made at any festival ever.
