  1. My top 5 were Wolf Alice, Bastille, Supergrass, Rudimental and The Vaccines, also enjoyed Kaiser Chiefs, Sea Girls, Beabadoobee, Declan McKenna and Bombay Bicycle Club, I even enjoyed a bit of Mabel (but as I haven't seen anything live for 18 months I think I can be forgiven!). Also enjoyed Bill Bailey, Mark Watson, Reginald D Hunter, Jo Brand and Flo and Joan from the comedy too.
  2. Bar Arlo Parks, Latitude had replaced all the acts within 2 hours of them cancelling so I imagine they'll have a roster of backups for that very reason
  3. In all honesty I'm shocked they managed to get away with reactively few cancellations, I thought it was going to end up being an almost complete rescheduling after Thursday when there were 3 acts who went out in quick succession. I agree though as cases are now falling quite quickly so it hopefully means far fewer acts are affected
  4. What an amazing and special weekend it was, a fantastic and varied lineup topped it off. So great to be back and here's to freedom and more live music
  5. Were there any mitigations in place like testing/vax checking on entry?
  6. Enjoy every second of it, it's probably the best feeling in the world to be back
  7. What a weekend at Latitude, it felt euphoric to be back doing one of my favourite things that I've missed so much. Credit to the organisers for putting together such an amazing event with so much on under the most difficult circumstances. It definitely felt odd being around people again but after a while it felt perfectly normal and everyone was very respectful of others wishes and it did feel relaxed too. I hope everyone going to other festivals over the summer has the best time, it's very very good to be back 😁
  8. Rudimental and Chems were a perfect end to the day and Supergrass were an excellent start. Tomorrow is probably my busiest day, very excited for Bill Bailey, Bastille, Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines and Jo Brand
  9. Katherine Ryan will be brilliant, Lyra starts just before 3 (very similar to Florence and the Machine) and Holly Humberstone is a very promising new artist who should be good too

    Wolf Alice

Ditto, they absolutely smashed it! Last Man on Earth live is a true otherworldly experience- very excited to see them in January in Norwich as they'll be brilliant in an indoor venue
  11. Wolf Alice were truly incredible, they earned every right to headline last night. Part of me thinks this may not be their last ever headline set at a major festival... Other highlights of the day included Beabadoobee, Declan McKenna and Lucia and the Best Boys, heck I even enjoyed a couple of Mabels songs too. I was surprised at how safe everything felt and was nice to see people accepting other people’s wishes too. It’s just such a euphoric feeling to be back and I can’t wait for the rest of the weekend
  12. Saturday is truly cursed by the looks of it! Theyve been quite quick in announcing replacements so we should hear soon
  13. Leaving in about an hour and I couldn’t be more excited, have an amazing weekend everyone!

    Wolf Alice

What was the set for it? Seeing them tonight and can’t wait for it😊
  15. Unfortunately I think this may just be how its going to be for a little while, hopefully festivals will have sense to book some back ups too just in case
  16. They played the same slot last time so not sure if they'd do it again Also will the 48 hour validity apply for the acts too? Hopefully that would mean after tomorrow the lineup stays relatively unaffected should the remaining acts test negative?
  17. Could be clutching here but surely Idles are the most likely candidates?
  18. You'd hope they have a few as there's a likelihood of quite a few gaps about
  19. My local venue is asking for one of the three options for their events starting from tomorrow, as you said you'd think they'd just said they were sentencing their families to death the way some people were reacting in the comments. It's the safest way to get gigs running again and avoiding the venues from having to shut for periods if there were outbreaks related to the venues. I bet you these are the people who would moan first if events had to be cancelled and restrictions toughened
  20. Yeah I'm quite worried this won't be the last, especially so close to the event. We can only hope no one else is effected by isolation
  21. And you as well! It's going to be a very special weekend
  22. Tested negative for Latitude, was going going use my jab but wanted to test in case as well, very very excited now! 😀
  23. Wolf Alice for the win! Would a second win be a record or something?
