  1. Texas and Keane seem to be touring next year, I'd be stunned if they both didn't turn up somewhere on the bill - seem like good Obelisk subs to me
  2. I agree I'm stunned Blossoms haven't played since 2015, they're a pretty big name on the festival circuit and I could see them being a great Obelisk sub Having seen him at Reading last weekend I could see Sam Fender appearing in the not too distant future, just not sure if he's going to take a break after this leg of his tour is complete
  3. I saw Muna at Reading last weekend and thought theyd be a perfect chilled Sunday mid afternoon sort of act whilst there - I could see Boygenius there some time but it seems like phoebe has some solo projects at the end of the year Based off absolutely nothing now I'm gonna guess Friday - Wet Leg/Bicep closing set Saturday - Liam Gallagher Sunday - Chic and Nile Rodgers
  4. Out of interest where is this info from? It's definitely exciting if they have names booked already and could mean they're bigger acts if it's this far in advance

    The Killers

Was there on Saturday and they absolutely killed it, they paced the set really well and the crowd was great too
  6. They had this at Latitude this year too, it's literally just people performing on top of a bus so nothing too exciting, I think it's just more a novelty booking for it more than anything else
  7. Some interesting suggestions in their 2024 act list, definitely some names I'd love to see it the mix though
  8. This is what I wasn't sure of, plus I remembered since that was their 50th anniversary so they went all out for headliners - of acts about I'd probably see Liam Gallagher as a potential 'big' headliner, especially as he was meant to do 2020 The only other one I could think of would be Blur, especially with Damons close relationship with the festival but it sounds as if they're wrapping up their tour and that'll be it for a while
  9. I guess this is a more a pipe dream but is there any chance of Depeche Mode playing? They're continuing their tour into next year and did Isle of Wight relatively recently which is a similar size? I know it's unlikely but they'd be great
  10. Dates confirmed as 25th-28th July! Guess that probably means more British/European based acts this time - it does lead into my birthday week now so that's a personal plus for me 😂
  11. Maybe a tent headliner/sub on Obelisk but unlikely to headline the whole event I'd say myself This could be a storming stage opener like they had with James this year, a really fun way to start the final day - I agree also Rex is a bit of a risk but from what I can see the case was dropped against him, I don't know if there's any music being released by him soon
  12. Bombay and The National have both headlined before but Ben Howard hasn't played for a few years so is a good shout These are all great ideas, Sports Team in the tent would be an absolute riot - Blossoms would be a solid sub too I reckon
  13. Seems to be some confusion on when it's actually being held. Ticketmaster say it's 18th-21st July but the website says 25th-28th but I guess the website is more likely to be accurate In terms of acts I think Haim are a good shout, also think Wet Leg could be in with a shout too. My dream headliner again would be Florence and the Machine but I'm not sure if she'll be active next year. There are rumours Gorillaz have a new album out soon and they'd be a great headliner I've seen a few reports of Liam Gallagher touring doing Definitely Maybe in full for its 30th anniversary, I wonder if he could be a shout as he usually headlines all the festivals when he's doing the rounds/was supposed to play 2020
  14. It was simply beautiful, I did worry about how it would transfer to an outdoor environment but they had it so no other music was taking place while they were on so it was really good. We could hear their soundcheck walking to the arena and that gave me goosebumps and the actual show was something else. They mainly stuck to the hits (I've seen a few people say Sometimes reduced them to tears) and it was one of my highlights of the weekend. I feel very jealous you saw it indoors as I imagine it was even more beautiful there!
  15. She actually sounded pretty good, her voice did seem to start to give in a little as the gig went on but her energy and performance skills haven't changed at all! Thoroughly enjoyed her and the singalongs to Spellbound and Hong Kong Garden were ace
  16. Not a gig as such but back from Latitude Festival and had an absolute blast! Managed to cram in: Friday - Wasia Project, The Murder Capital, The Last Dinner Party, The Beths, Georgia, Confidence Man, Yard Act and Pulp Saturday- The Mysterines, Teddy Swims, Lightning Seeds, The Big Moon, Paul Heaton, The Kooks and Far From Saints Sunday - James, Picture This, Caity Baser, The Proclaimers, Mimi Webb, Red Rum Club and Siouxsie Mixed in with comedy from Kerry Godliman, Ed Byrne, Fern Brady, Bridget Christie and Marcus Brigstocke it was an absolute joy from start to finish and I already can't wait for 2024
  17. Yet another superb weekend from start to finish, loved every second and managed to cram in everything I wanted to see and a little bit more too - highlights were Pulp, James, Siouxsie, Confidence Man, Far From Saints, Fern Brady and Bridget Christie Roll on 2024!
  18. I don't think Blur would bother for a 20 minute set myself but I guess its worth keeping an eye open whoever it may be Massive credit to the organisers who overnight put loads of extra wood chip down, I think they'll do some more overnight ahead of tomorrow (which is forecast to be much better 😁) - as soggy as today was I had a great time, highlights were Far From Saints, Lightning Seeds, Fern Brady and Bridget Christie - I can't wait for James and Siouxsie tomorrow
  19. Pulp were astonishingly good tonight, one of the best headline sets I've seen there! Other highlights were Confidence Man and Last Dinner Party - looking forward to the rest of the weekend now
  20. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Can't wait to get there tomorrow morning
  21. Not that I take notice of the weather but it's definitely been less wet than they predicted so it's making me very hopeful for this weekend - getting very excited now
  22. 2 days to go till the music kicks off! Who's everyone's most anticipated acts? Mine are Pulp, James, Siouxsie, The Last Dinner Party snd Confidence Man, also really excited for Bridget Christie and Fern Brady on the comedy too
  23. Very excited to see them on Friday at Latitude! Only heard good things about the tour so far so im sure it'll be an amazing set
  24. Yes, you're allowed to bring food into the main arena 🙂 just make sure it's not excessive amounts, there's also plenty of vendors inside too - you can also bring sealed water bottles/reusable bottles in but I can't remember the size limit on them
  25. Looking at the hints for secret sets on the Amp Stage it seems they're going to be Friday - Ed Gamble, Dolores Forever Saturday - Lightning Seeds, Rachel Chinoriri (can't work out the last one) Sunday - Picture This, James Acaster, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Mimi Webb It's cool they're using it for music and comedy this time
