  1. https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/artists-boycott-great-escape-barclays/ I've just come across this, the article mentions plans to boycott future events including Latitude because of the sponsorship
  2. Usually announced close to the festival but probably all the usual late night stuff, they've been doing a lot more surprise guests doing DJ sets recently
  3. Day splits (and I'm guessing running orders) for Sunrise and Alcove have been announced
  4. Still a slot missing in the tent on Sunday, maybe they might add a secret set in there? They do tend to do more secret sets as part of their late night lineups though so I'm not sure I still think I preferred last year's lineup overall but I'm still looking forward to it, it's always a fantastic weekend and I'm sure I'll see some amazing acts too, I'm especially excited for CMAT and Chic
  5. A few more names tomorrow, probably focused more on the arts side of it but could see Alcove being announced too
  6. Looks as if there's a fair few Glasto crossovers this year, will be good to see what to expect before the weekend By my estimations we're now full on the Obelisk on Friday and Sunday, potentially missing 1 act from Saturday but not sure if it'll only be 6 because of the 2 headliners In the tent we're still missing an act on Friday and Sunday We also have the Alcove to be announced which is always good for new acts
  7. Latitude does undiscovered gems the best, having a little listen through of today's acts and it's very much the same for 2024 Also have to say the comedy lineup this year is stacked, they really know how to make a great lineup of comedians
  8. Just seen that too, 11am Wouldn't expect anything too big but theyre still missing their now usual 90s Obelisk opener and I did notice The Charlatans are free on the Saturday, anything like that would be great though - I'm excited to see what else is in store
  9. Has anyone got any other hopes for acts to be added? I wouldn't expect anything huge but someone like Johnny Marr opening the Obelisk one day would be very cool - there's still a few slots left so they'll probably be slowly released over the next few months like usual
  10. No clue, unless they're renaming it? They still have ties to the BBC though so who knows Tbh I think more people just call it 'the tent' that its a waste of time giving it a name at all
  11. Looking at previous years there are still a couple more slots to fill on the various stages Obelisk Friday: 1 slot, Saturday: 2 slots, Sunday: 1 slot Tent Friday: 2 slots, Saturday: 3 slots, Sunday: 1 slot Plus more from Sunrise
  12. That's a massive improvement for me, I think I prefer last year's but overall its a decent mix of names (and evidently a lot more to come too) It's always a fabulous weekend and has been said, on paper is very different to in reality and once you've done your full listen through on the lineup too it fills out a lot more I'm looking forward to it a lot
  13. Nothings been leaked overnight so worth keeping an eye out for anything before 11, the positive is it looks like a decent sized announcement so there's more to explore in it I'm intrigued to see what they have in store
  14. A little hint ahead of tomorrow
  15. I think CMAT is in with a chance, active that weekend and getting slots at other festivals too I'm intrigued to see what else there is on, the lineup always looks better when it's padded out with other names, I'd imagine we'll get day splits for acts too as they said day tickets would go on sale in January
  16. More names 11am tomorrow
  17. Looks like some news is coming in the not too distant future, hopefully it'll pad out a few more spaces and give us day splits A few more names that could be active from Tramlines, could see Charlatans be the 90s act opening slot on Obelisk like the last few years
  18. Truck festival has hinted their acts and people have worked out they've got Jamie T, Wet Leg, The Streets, Sea Girls, The Kooks, Idles, Declan McKenna, Holly Humberstone, Soft Play, Black Honey, Peace, The Magic Gang, Katy B, Yard Act, The Snuts - there were a few acts last year that appeared at both so there's a few possibilities there Yard Act and Kooks can be ruled out after appearing in prominent slots last year but could possibly see a few of the others added, Idles headlining the tent would be an absolute riot
  19. Looks to be a few announcements coming up for other festivals around the same time, as it needs a lot of padding out its worth keeping an eye out for who's about when - Idles and Wet Leg have been banded around who I could definitely see playing
  20. They mentioned day tickets would be released in the new year which is usually accompanied by some more acts so I could see there being some more news soon with payday for many coming up soon
  21. Mainly festivals for me but my top 5 is: Florence + The Machine -O2 Arena The Killers - Reading Muse - MK Bowl Pulp - Latitude James (Orchestral Show) - Latitude The rest in no particular order Softplay - Reading Billie Eilish - Reading Confidence Man - Latitude Far From Saints - Latitude Declan Mckenna - Reading A lot of great events I've been lucky enough to go to and here's to many more in 2024
  22. From what I can see I think almost every act announced is on the Obelisk meaning there's plenty of spaces in both the tents to take up, I'm guessing Orbital will headline BBC Sounds but wonder who else could be added in
