  1. My only thought on Ped gates is that once you're onsite I'm not sure how much you would use these as reference points. But if people thing they should be in that is cool
  2. @stuartbert two hats feel free to start us off
  3. Within another thread it turns out the handy walking matrix we have been living off for a while is grossly out of date. Think it is time to get that updated and I am hoping between us we can get the correct timings together. Obviously, it would be unwieldily to create this reference point for every stage/bar/landmark, so thought I would narrow it down to some of the more recognised ones. If you think I am missing any let me know and I am happy to add this in. List of landmarks included so far are: Pyramid Avalon Bandstand Block9 Cabaret Cider Bus CoOp Glade John Peel Kidzfield Meeting Point Other Pangea Shangri-La Silver Hayes Stone Circle Strummerville The Park Theatre & Circus Now, I am happy to put these together, HOWEVER, I thought I would use the mind hive of this forum. Don't forget this is all based on general walking times, at non peak times, without stopping for the occasional Oggie or beer. So with that, let the arguments begin.
  4. I'm happy to put this new timings thing together, if everyone can send me roughly how long they think it is from certain key points of interest I will collate them, average them out and put it all in a new matrix, feel free to DM to ensure those tracking this thread aren't plagued by random messages
  5. Dreamy! Thanks for the heads up
  6. I'm not sure this will work as I don't believe distill will be able to read the Steward word as this is after a drop down selection. But if you have done this before and it has worked I am super happy to hear so!
  7. I have the same checker going on for a friend of mine, but not sure it will work at the moment due to the fact the other Glasto openings are there (campaign and shop).
  8. I would agree, I think most of the outer ones could have 5-10 mins added to, I just happened to save this from a previous thread.
  9. This was definitely the case, the fact it could be seen from pretty much all corners of the site even when the flames weren't going was something that must have been sat in their mind. Unfortunately, it just didn't quite live up to the hype, the fact we have had the 2 years of no progress on it as well has made a massive difference to our thoughts on it I'm sure.
  10. I'm sure it would be ok, we could all revel in the numerous covers of God Save the Queen, led by the Kaiser Chiefs and Chris Martin!
  11. Such a Debbie downer ...surely we are at 100%?!
  12. I can wholly recommend this model of tent for anybody who is looking for one!

    Glastocam!

What are you doing to me? There goes any sort of productivity for the day!
  14. Thanks for all of the input everybody, definitely super useful insight into what the ticket could provide. A few of you have made the very thought that I had which was for that price if I can't get in any other way it may be absolutely worth it to be at the farm in June. Will have to see how Sunday goes and then work it out from there.
  15. Thanks all, the tickets I am being offered seem to be the ones you are suggesting that are about double the normal price (just over). I'm biding my time until next weekend to see if I can pick one up thanks to the resale team, but then will have to decide if the benefits (and just being on the farm) outweigh the extra cost Can you remember if you were able to access the festival early or were those tickets just in essence general admission with a couple of small perks?
  16. I have a friend who is a music agent and he has been at his company long enough finally that he can get music industry tickets...however, there is a rather high cost associated to them. My question is have any of you got any previous experience with these tickets and what they provide you in terms of amenities/access etc?
  17. Just looking back through an old group for 2019, the following released (could be out by a day or 2 depending on how quickly they I managed to pick them up and share them in the first place: BBC Introducing - 15th April Silver Hayes - 15th April Field of Avalon - 16th April The Common - 24th April Theatre & Circus - 30th April Shangri La - 1st May West Holts - 7th May Acoustic - 8th May Leftfield - 10th May Croissant Neuf - 14th May Unfairground - 21st May The Park - 22nd May Babylon Uprising - 23rd May Pangea - 24th May Full Line Up - 29th May
  18. Donation last night, super simple process, a couple of bourbon biscuits. Slightly off my PB clocking in at 5mins 34secs, but yet another pint gone to worthy causes!
  19. Definitely not a problem with the change, and the fee paid to be gold is the quickest and easiest decision I make each year!!
  20. This is the reason I am in the resale this year. A do-gooder friend of ours put our needs ahead of his group, even though we asked him to stick to the plan...I got through at the same time, it blocked us an then his friend group got through 5 mins later and booked their tickets...
