  1. Raye it's super believable she'd be on a Lana bill. Slightly alt-pop and very popular with the gays (like Lana). Ellie I can't talk for but I'd be more than down to catch her live. Loved Lights as an album and she's had a few decent tracks since (Falling For You from the Bridget Jones film especially).
  2. She's still on the up and up. Sam Fender supported the Stones last year when he was in I'd say a similar position.
  3. I'm assuming they're not in any rush due to the date already selling out but has there been any whispers of when we might hear the rest of the line-up for Pulp? Won't complain if its just Wet Leg and Pulp themselves but would be surprised
  4. What date would that make her? Praying I'm free as I've twice had tickets to see her only for her to cancel. Would honestly complete my summer to finally catch her live!
  5. Yeah unless its someone like McCartney its a bit of a push to expect to sell out Hyde Park in 2 months?
  6. Not liking the look of this clash finder aha, way too clashy. I'd be surprised to see Shygirl so low having done two nights (and selling out one) at Printworks
  7. My mate has tickets to The Lex show and was asking me to come; told him I'd be holding off till the Wide Wake announcement then it sold out. Panic set in just for them to be announced today aha Very glad!
  8. Signed up for the presale £20 for this is a great deal
  9. New names this week, who's everyone hoping for? I want to through out an unlikely name but Death Grips. They're not playing a London show on their upcoming European tour and are free on that weekend.
  10. As much as I agree they shouldn't be headlining, Billie Eillish played like 10 shows, hardly your typical "arena" headliner.
  11. Am really hoping for Clipping myself who I think will be in the UK at that point but not sure if Field Day would clash with Green Man
  12. 2017 in particular looked crazy and there was still Aphex as a headliner aha
  13. So I looked at the Christine and the Queens 2019 day, which at first seemed in a similar boat to the HAIM day. In the second announcement they added James Blake (Who was the sub) and Kamasi Washington (who was pretty high up) so I'm guessing the same will probably happen here?
  14. I think my main issue with the Haim day is its missing a big sub. Girl In Red whilst great aren't exactly a big name as of yet and as much as I love HAIM they're hardly Aphex Twin or The Strokes size-wise. Really surprised it's not a co-head with Lorde to be honest.
  15. Lana, Lorde and Janelle Monae would be a stacked day!
  16. Tbf this does make a lot more sense. Love Boygenius (and their solo stuff) but they're nowhere near big enough to sell out Victoria Park. When they first toured the US they did a solo set each before coming on. Would be great to see that replicated for a Gunnersbury Park day (though I assume unlikely)
  17. Pulp was £76 which isn't as generous but hey, I'm seeing Pulp! I don't care!!!!
  18. Yeah, having done Cornucopia at the O2 in 2019 I can't see the show transferring well outside at all. It was very hit-lite with a particular focus on Utopia and 1 or 2 songs most off other albums some of which were re-worked (Venus As A Boy for example was incredibly birdcall and flute heavy and sounded nothing like the studio version). Plus it had a HUGE stage show, I mean a reverb chamber, curtains worth of lights and a huge centre piece which even at the O2 nearly filled the stage. Very much a show for the die hard Bjork fan rather than a casual festival set. If she were to play APE before the shows she'd be far safer doing an Orkestral set like at BlueDot where it was a far more varied set that touched on each part of her career (the last 6/7 songs were basically back to back hits think Joga, Hyperballad, Hunter). Seemed to go down quite well with the crowd as well at BlueDot from what I remember. Unless she debuts a proper Fossora show here and in Iceland before doing some European Cornucopian shows but I find that unlikely????
  19. Any thoughts on Bjork potentially playing this. I know Coachella is hardly an indicator but with Fossora out for nearly a year by APE surely she'll be planning to play some European shows around then?
  20. Aphex, ARCA and Fever Ray on the same day is a win, win, win for me!!! Can't wait
  21. I'm assuming (hoping) we might get another hyperpop name or two to go with Caroline!
  22. Pretty excited for Aphex Twin. Was hoping he'd be announced for this 🙂
  23. Bjork Headline with Fever Ray on the bill please
  24. Its been processing my payment for 15 minutes. Fuming is an understatement. Absolute piss take.
  25. We're through but it keeps cancelling my friends connection? Any ideas?
