I do agree in that Kendricks set will be the quietest of the headline three, but i do think his will be the best. Billies music is too depressing and slow for the most part, and pauls set will be great at either end and dead in the middle. Kendricks is gonna be full energy and engagement the whole way through and i'm gonna be right at the front.

I’m in the market for a new day bag.
Anyone got any recommendations?
I recommend osprey as well. check out their 'second life' collection for 50% off. They still come with a warranty and are literally perfectly fine

I like C.
Its strange how many different preferences there are maybe we should state a preference and see to what extent everyone could get what they choose?
Could set up a different thread for this? I'd have a preference for A or B

So do these dates make Macca more likely for the Sunday?
Reg on the Saturday (he's playing Wednesday and Tuesday so having him smack bang in the middle of those dates makes sense).
Billie - Reg - Macca.
Nailed on.
Reg?

Does anyone who's been to Boardmasters previously know if they are strict about the 12 cans rule and if it's possible to re-enter the site with more throughout the weekend or are we limited to paying festival prices for drinks all weekend?
its 24 cans i think
edit: just checked and you're right about the 12 cans. I think that must have been changed since when i went in 2018. probably need the additional income from the festival missing out 2 years in a row

Foals // Skepta // Disclosure? I know they are playing Reading but its not too crazy to have them at Boardies too
Oh man, i beg not disclosure. They probably did one of the worst sets ive ever seen at a festival (glasto 2016)

i dont think theyd go for 3 indie/alt act headliners, they usually have at least once rap/dance headliner...
Foals // Dave // ??? (maybe?)
Dave has become exclusive to parklife.

Would love to see Biffy Clyro up there or perhaps Foals who were lined up a few years ago but it was 'too windy'.

I had an Oxfam place too, so I feel your pain.
The idea behind the spreadsheet is that once your group has got tickets, you keep going and try to get tickets for another group on the list. So your chances are higher because you'll have extra people trying for you (once they've secured their own tickets).
Oh sweet, sounds like a no brainer. It's gonna be crazy hard just with the April one though now

DUA Lipa is to headline The Other Stage at Glastonbury this year, I can reveal.
My sources say Dua, who releases her second album Future Nostalgia in April, has just been signed for the Worthy Farm gig.

And they say the decision to have her top the bill on The Other Stage was made by co-organiser Emily Eavis in a bid to increase the number of female headliners. One said: “There was definitely an argument to say Dua should have been on the Pyramid Stage, but Emily wanted to have her on board as a headliner.
“She wants male and female artists to be equally prominent on the festival’s bill this year.
“Dua’s fans will be thrilled and she’s looking forward to putting on a show to remember.”

That was it

Source?
It was half way down an article written by the sun, which i know isnt all that trustworthy, but they said it was part of Emily's continuing plans for a better gender split. Sziget is having her headline this year amongst other pre pyramid level headliners so that ticks that box for emily saying other other stage headliners would be massive.

Apparently one headliner of other is Dua Lipa

I still think it's Royal Blood, Calvin Harris & Pet Shop Boys. I think Biffy could sub the Pyramid on Sunday again.
You think they'd do same slot again as 2017?

Get some of those frozen oven pizzas and cook them at home
Cut into eighths. Wrap two up in tin foil with the toppings facing each other. Do it again with the other 6 slices. Light, carb heavy and tasty
Yeah don't be like me though and eat peperoni pizza the second evening you are there like i did at Reading last year. Meat+30°C heat+30 hours= bad shits for next 3 days
Live gigs - Who you've seen were they good, bad etc.

In terms of indie at Glasto
Saw Inhaler at Reading and Boardies last year and were boring at both. Sports team live were great at Reading and will benefit from a smaller stage than the main at Reading last year. Sam fender is brilliant live and is gonna pull a gigantic crowd. Amyl and the sniffers are great would highly recommend them from seeing in 2019 at Williams Green.
