Think they've been the offical partner for a good 10 years or so...wasn't it 'Orange' before that? Or are they now EE? I fail to keep up!

T mobile + Orange became EE

you're probably getting confused about which account you're using today.

You literally know/can easily find out I have only one account (bar one I made with an almost identical name when I forgot the password very briefly like three years ago, @Freddyflintstonre.)

What are you on about? 😅😂

i didnt get the ridiculous story, so not the same info.

You know it's possible for you both to be right, right? Unless the ridiculous story for GnR was proven incorrect by your own info for GnR?

Some were speculating this might map Chvrches in line with Coldplay's UK stadium dates, which are in Cardiff and Manchester ending two days before this. Not yet announced, mind.

No show outside Scotland other than Nottingham is quite the bold step to dub it as a UK tour in fairness.

It's exactly the same colour scheme as the Coldplay tour, probably by chance I guess

  5. Soz if this has been said already, but skrillex is on the lineup for SAGA fest in Romania over Glasto weekend. Not impossible, in fact I think he'll at glasto too, but seen a few predictions of him popping up all over the weekend which isnt gonna happen.

Somebody on Reddit who seems quite sure of themselves. Hardly nailed on, but what with Lana on the cusp of announcing more summer dates not hard to imagine it’s true.

Which sub? Had a quick scan but can't find anything.

its not that i don't like them, its that i think its a dreadful booking for glastonbury to make i think most people expect better, just think of the slagging cochella would be getting here if they booked gnr.

Point made. Multiple times. It's literally worth one comment in this thread. Nothing more. WE. KNOW. WHAT. YOU. THINK. ABOUT. GNR.

God I miss Chris Cornell.  That voice just gives me shivers.  Such a great loss.

On Yusuf/Cat Stevens, I can think of 5/6 songs I know and like.  Toss up between Wild World and First Cut for favourite.  Assuming no major Cat-astrophes, I think it would be a great - if slightly more chilled out - singalong.

    Fixed it 🙂

We really need an announcement. This thread feels like a GNR themed Groundhog Day.

Problem is we've known the headliners for so long. It's a bit boring now 😞

I do think there's a good chance a lot of people who don't spend their days on forums like this will be completely baffled by the GnR announcement.

Saw a friend recently who pays zero attention to any of the speculation and he was excitingly talking up Little Simz as a Glastonbury headliner for this summer, pointing to the Stormzy booking and the need for more female headliners as reasons for believing it will happen.

I didn't have the heart to tell him it's GnR instead. If you've spent weeks on here debating possible lineups, you know there's no way Little Simz would be considered big enough to headline the Pyramid yet. But for everyone out there in their own little music bubble, there's going to be a more relevant, more interesting name they think could be headlining and GnR is going to feel like a bit of a slap in the face by comparison.

(Apart from the people whose music bubble is GnR-heavy - imagine they'll be thrilled)

Not to come across as holier-than-thou when talking to people about Glastonbury, but spending far too long on this forum does lead to some interesting/amusing/awkward conversations when people come out with wild speculation for things like headliners because they 'have a feeling' or otherwise.

I have literally turned down bets with friends in the past even for acts I know are touring over Glasto weekend just because I don't want to rob them and/or break hearts. Can't decide if it's a blessing or a curse to be so aware of Glastonbury potentials sometimes.
