Yeah I'm pretty sure they have a thing where those VIP tickets let you in earlier, which is insane.

    Poor Hagop

    Gate Times:
Primary Entry / Luno VIP Garden / Luno VIP Garden + VIP Pit: 13:00
    General Admission gates: 14:00
    Last entry: 20:30
    Curfew: 23:00
    Age Restrictions: 18+
*Timings are approximate and subject to change

Oh fair, that is a bit shocking. Surely it means most of the stage openers are just playing to virtually empty fields?!

  2. Does anyone know if the general admission gate opening time is correct on the Field Day website. It says General Admission is from 1400, but there's someone on the line up (Hagop Tchaparian) who's set is 1300-1400. Does that mean only those with Primary Entry and VIP access will see him? Seems odd!

    • Janet Jackson over Lizzo in 2019. Still haunts me.
    • Overdoing it every night the first two years I went and sleeping most of the days away.
    • Trying to see too much some years and managing about 20 mins of each set.

This year I got the perfect balance of everything and came away from the festival feeling fulfilled and, luckily, not too physically or mentally unwell!

  3. Is the general consensus that Temple TBA on Sat night is Fred again.. B2B with Four Tet?

Not a massive Fred again.. fan, but that would be wild if true!  If incredibly busy after Fat Boy Slim on Park!

I don't remember seeing a cider option but doesn't mean there wasn't, I'd also be surprised if pricing was wildly different. There were no queues at the bars which was a plus!

Hope you enjoy! He was incredible on Tues + I'm a relatively casual fan of his.

Thanks for this! That's good to hear, I'm in the same boat as v casual fan but girlfriend wanted to go!  At least the bars are quiet, although £8 for a can is outrageous.

Fully expecting Glasto bar cider (not B Bar) to be £6.50-£7.00 this year

£7.85 for a 440ml Budweiser can at Wembley for Harry Styles.

    Painful.

Jesus!  Can you remember what cider they had and if it was roughly the same price?  Going tonight!

  6. I'm sure I have a vague recollection of someone here saying Haim moved their O2 show because it had sold so badly and they wanted more time to sell tickets.  Either way, if they struggled to sell out the O2 a few months ago, can't see 40,000 tickets going anywhere

Fingers crossed for a cheap ticket nearer the time for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and then leave nice and early 😄

If memory serves it was really difficult to get cheap tix last year.  Even Twickets didn't seem to have anything below face value, was really odd.

Skilled headlined the other stage last time he played. Wonder if they're playing together.

They'll probably be on at Rabbit Hole on the Thurs or something similarly obscene haha 😞 although Arcadia could be good - although I seem to remember Four Tet's set there last year was so rammed I couldn't even get in the field.

  9. In no order -

    1. Darkthrone - Astral Fortress

    2. Charli XCX - CRASH

    3. Yard Act - The Overload

    4. Jack White - Fear of the Dawn

    5. Denzel Curry - Melt My Eyez See Your Future

Song - King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - The Dripping Tap

Gig - Black Midi @ Glastonbury

Anyone else had problems with tickets bought from twickets? Bought a few from twickets and all rejected on the gate. All transferred through AXS legit too

Maybe go to the box office?  I had a similar thing with Dice at the Four Tet all-dayer a few weeks ago and the box office people just let me in

Can anybody recommend who to see on the Disclosure day? I'm going for Charli XCX, Fred Again and James Blake (gutted about the clash/overlap across those 3!) but I don't know any of the earlier acts, but will be there all day

Freddie Gibbs is easily one of the best rappers of his generation, if you're into that kind of thing.  Overmono and Shy FX are also decent!
